Wanderlei Silva vs Cung Le odds for UFC 139 fight on Nov. 19
Ruthless aggression vs. calculated precision.
Wanderlei Silva vs. Cung Le is locked and loaded for the upcoming co-main event of the UFC 139: "Henderson vs. Shogun" pay-per-view on Saturday night (Nov. 19, 2011) at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California.
It will be the first appearance for "The Axe Murderer" since going stiff at the hands of Chris Leben, who "crippled" the PRIDE legend at UFC 132 earlier this year.
The defeat dropped Silva (33-11-1) to 2-4 since his Octagon debut, a three round unanimous decision loss against Chuck Liddell back in late 2007.
It's without question the twilight of his career and as such, the odds makers have labeled him the +120 underdog for this weekend's middleweight mash-up.
Despite being a slight favorite at -140, the inactive Le (7-1) hasn't been seen and hardly heard from since avenging a knockout loss to Scott Smith back in June 2010. That win marked just his third fight in as many years and the road seemed clear for a full commitment to Hollywood.
In fact, the San Shou striker openly admitted he would only accept another mixed martial arts bout if it was to take place inside the Octagon. Well, he's got his wish, but it's against a wild Brazilian with nothing to lose.
Is Le in over his head?

Le's got this.
Wanderlei has the worst record in the UFC.
TheDragon is the greatest of all time, i was foolish to bet against him, NEVER again will i make that mistake
Silva's Octagon debut
Wandy’s octagon debut was not against Chuck in 2007, it was at UFC Ultimate Brazil in 1998.
His zUFCa debut was against Chuck.
There, fixed lol.
IF YOU THINK REEM SHOULD BE RATED ANY HIGHER THAN AROUND THE #5 HEAVYWEIGHT (AND THAT IS STRETCHING IT) THEN YOU ARE A FLIPPIN MORON, PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

wandy should prolly hang em up if he loses in devastating fashion.
Ill be rooting for him, but let’s be honest, he has taken some severe punishment through the years. Hell, he had to get surgery to the extent where he looks like a different person for chrissake! I just think cung will likely tko him, as much as I don’t want it to happen

Yea that's what I'm hoping for
I hope Wand can drag him into the 3rd rd, survive the kicks and wear Cung out.

i'm behind wand now
i don’t see him getting ko’d by a kick to the stomach. i think wand’s striking is better and can get in on cung and own him. i mean what has cung really done in the sport? he’s old, he’s kicky but he’s not much of a threat to a wand who fights smart…if he fights smart

The longer it goes, the better
Wand has never had cardio problems, and Cung got KO’d by Smith cause he was gassed in rd 3. The guy throws so many kicks that he wears himself out if he can’t finish the fight. Wand on the other hand still has killer instinct, still has great cardio; if he can take some punishment to the legs/body and not catch the head shots clean he could drag Cung into the 3rd and get the TKO win. Watch his fight with Frank Shamrock again, in the 3rd rd Frank was landing and Cung was fading; if it wasn’t for the broken arm that probably would’ve ended in a loss for Le.
