Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) made history this past Saturday night (Nov. 12, 2011) with its very first network broadcasted fight card. UFC on FOX 1: "Velasquez vs. Dos Santos" featured a fast and loose 64 second knockout victory for Junior dos Santos, who ripped the title from Cain Velasquez with relative ease.
But that's not all.
Ben Henderson took once step closer to realizing his dream of wearing UFC gold when he put Clay Guida in his place in the lightweight division with a dominant 15-minute destruction.
And that's not even mentioning Brock Lesnar, who totally stole the show as an analyst up in the booth.

the decision was correct and I wanted Clay to win
maybe Geno is taking a page out of the Skip Bayless style of jourmalism
From an objective point of view
Pros: -Junior dos Santos knocing out Cain Velasquez
-Brock Lesnar makes the future match-up with Overeem a ‘must-see’
-The fox music at the start with each fighter walking in
-The set
Cons
-Curt Menfee was dull and seemed disinterested; use Jim Rome next time
-Dana White seemed nerve-wrecked and didn’t come across all to well
-The over use of the NFL on FOX theme, we get it
-Should have hyped up the main event with more footage, more unseen interviews from that day. Should have built up future events.

naw many wrestling fans watch MMA and Fox was captalizing upon that. Ring of Honor production isn’t great but it’s better then what WWE is showing. I actually checked it out after seeing it was playing on Fox.
