UFC on FOX 1: "Velasquez vs. Dos Santos" fight poster via UFC.com
It doesn't get much easier than this.
No tape delays. No pay-per-view (PPV) purchases. No toggling between Spike TV and PPV. Just FOX, baby. And a little Facebook live stream mixed martial arts (MMA) action, too. That's it.
Unless you've locked yourself in your mother's basement, playing "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" until your fingers bleed, or are just plain dense, then you should know that Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will make its celebrated debut on network television, FOX, later this evening (Nov. 12, 2011).
UFC on Fox 1 is an historic hour-long broadcast that begins at 9 p.m. ET. It features just one bout, but it's a fantastic fight that is scheduled for five rounds: UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez, defending his world title against number one division contender, Junior dos Santos.
Of course, there are several other scraps that will take place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., prior to main event, including a number one lightweight contender eliminator match between Ben Henderson vs. Clay Guida. These nine fights will all air live via streaming video on Facebook and FoxSports.com, beginning at around 5 p.m. ET.
There's more.
