Two featherweight studs with a proclivity for collecting bonus checks will hook 'em up at UFC on FOX 1: "Velasquez vs. Dos Santos" tonight (Nov. 12, 2011) at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, as Dustin Poirier takes on Pablo Garza.
Poirier thinks they're a lock to collect yet another bonus award:
"Pablo -- man, his last couple fights have been incredible. I have a pace that I'm not going to slow down and he doesn't either. He's a finisher and I'm going in there to try to finish him, so this is definitely going to be 'Fight of the Night.'"
Garza thinks their styles match up well together and it should create fireworks:
"The UFC decided that I'm exciting enough to be on this card and I feel honored. To fight against a guy like Dustin Poirier, who has exciting fights as well, means a lot. It's going to be great. He's a really straightforward guy. He comes out striking, he throws big, he's gone all the way and he's really aggressive. So am I, so our fighting styles are definitely going to meet really good."
It may not be a heavyweight championship fight but who's looking forward to watching these two slug it out?
