UFC Twitter bonuses and award winners announced

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) today (Nov. 1, 2011) announced the winners of its first-ever Twitter incentive program, cutting checks to the fighters who made the most of their social media outlets over the last quarter (ending Sept. 1).
Each award, which was initially unveiled across three categories earlier this year at the promotion's annual Fighter Summit, nets a $5,000 bonus.

The Brazilians likely got the push they needed from UFC 134: "Rio" back on Aug. 27, cleaning up in the "Most Followers" and "Most Growth" categories -- though they were conspicuously absent from "Most Creative."
Anyone think the UFC deserves one for "Most Generous?"

Most of the “creative” winners aren’t that funny. I mean, Joe lauzon has his moments but that’s it. Seriously, I dunno lol.
Because no one cares about Sonnen unless he mentions Silva...he can only ride that train for so long
If he loses the rematch, he will never again be relevant…just like he was never relevant before.
No one cares to read Sonnen tweet about his day of going to the park with his family. Unless his family ran into Anderson’s family and they had to be seperated by police.
And like I said, if he loses the rematch, no one will care about Sonnen ever again

Are you having any trouble with the mania portion of the SB app? It updates fine and shows titles of new faposts and news articles, but when I click on them-any of them-the article of Brock/Overeem appears. Clicking comments brings me to the correct comments (not the Brock/Overeem ones) but I’m not able to view the articles themselves. I’ve deleted and readied mania from my SB lineup with no luck. If its not happening I anyone else I’ll have to delete and redownload the entire SBN app itself.

sounds good, but it just seems that these are fighters that don’t necessarily need the bonusses. would be nice to see the lesser known fighters who increase the number of their twitter followers get bonusses. just a thought

I am not exactly a Sonnen hater, but I dislike him a lot because he is a cheater, felon and speaks too many stupid things, but I agree he does have his moments of uber funnyness
