What makes a great fight card?
If I had to write up a recipe for an exciting event, it would have to be comprised of title fights, popular fighters, great match-ups, exciting finishes, major upsets and some absolutely nasty all out wars.
UFC 136: "Edgar vs. Maynard 3" was a stacked fight card that delivered all the above. Two title fights (Frankie Edgar vs. Gray Maynard for the lightweight title and Jose Aldo vs. Kenny Florian for the featherweight title), great match-ups (Chael Sonnen vs. Brian Stann in a middleweight number one contender bout), an upset (Joe Lauzon submitting Melvin Guillard) and some exciting finishes (knockouts and submissions).
But was it the best card ever?
You be the judge! Take a poll after the jump and add a comment telling us what you think is the best UFC card ever.
Well, Maniacs, what do you think? Best fight card the UFC has ever put together? Or can you think of one that was better?
