(Pic) Daniel Cormier shows off his mangled hand at the UFC Fan Expo in Houston today (Oct. 7). "DC" suffered the injury during his knockout victory over Antonio Silva in the semifinals of the Strikeforce heavyweight grand prix back on Sept. 10. He's expected to meet Josh Barnett in the finals sometime early next year.

Our very own Sergio Hernandez is live and on the scene at the UFC Fan Expo so remember to stay tuned to MMAmania.com for extensive coverage from Texas.

Cormier Vs Barnett is a real barn burner. Look for Cormier to capitalize here in a major way. Cormier will beat Barnett , and get a title shot against the UFC champ very shortly. Modern Fedor?

Cormier FTW

And then he’ll (try to) drop to 205 and come to the UFC. No way he fights at HW in the UFC as long as Cain is around. If he does then he has no intentions of fighting for the title, that is unless Cain gets dethroned, which I don’t see happening either.

Two week sig bet with Armando Baez that Gray Maynard will Bully little Frankie Edgar and take home the strap, sending him back to New Jersey to search for "The Answer"

Yea I’m banking of Cain losing. If Cain is still champ , Cormier won’t fight him.

Eh, I think most will agree that JDS is a tough match up for Cain if he was healthy over the last year. With Cain’s injury, it seems likely that JDS will win.

I do think Cain can beat damn near everyone else though. JDS is a tough one.

Everyone thought I was crazy when I said Frankie would knock out Maynard. Haha who's laughing now?

Pleasure doing business

I pick guys with tramp stamps over experienced champions because that’s just how I roll. However, I have seen the errors of my ways and I have now learned to not underestimate the beast that is the great Frankie “The Answer” Edgar who has overcame every adversity he has been given. Frankie solidified his status as a true champion as he tooled my false idol in Gray “can’t finish a guy” Maynard and sent him back to the fight team “I just got knocked the f’ out” aka “Xtreme Couture” along with Vitor Belfort, Randy Couture and Forrest Griffin. I will now start to train UFC so that I can fight like the best Lightweight, Frankie Edgar.

Two week sig bet that Frankie has the "Answer" for Maynard this Saturday with KOaddict

One month sig bet with TheDragon on Cain vs. JDS

Cock-Asses

Why couldn’t they have done a fan expo in Vegas this year?

Cormier needs go drop to 205 and fight Jones cuz we all know he won’t fight cain but I’m also picking dos santos to win but still I think he’s undersized for heavyweight and think him v jbj would b a way sick fight

MMA = Best sport on earth

I agree. Cormier will not cut weight anymore, so he would have to actually be 200-205 walk around weight. That may not be likely, but Cormier seems open to it. Prior to beating Silva, he said he would never make 205 again.

So who knows really. Maybe the threat of having to fight his boy will make him change his diet.

size is overrated.

See Fedor.

Liddell: 'I'll fight anyone, Silva? Yeah sure, Quinton Jackson? Sure, Randy Couture? Sure'

Reporter: 'What about Fedor Emelianenko?'

Liddell: 'Well if I'll have to...I'll fight him...if I have to'
