Ever since Haye declared he would retire from boxing at age 31 some 3-4 years ago, which happens to be this coming Thursday, the cocky British brawler has gradually become more and more involved with MMA. Haye was last seen dropping a lopsided unanimous decision to the now undisputed heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko this past August.
Whether its admitting that MMA is superior to boxing in some aspects or simply being in attendance at MMA events with the President of UFC, Haye has made it very clear that MMA is now a viable option in his fighting career. Haye has sparred with MMA fighters in the past and has had mixed success.
He has been seen with fighters like James Thompson during his walk-outs and has even admitted to training mixed martial arts before stating that it is much tougher than boxing.
In the eve of his retirement , which really is quite early for a fighter with the mileage that Haye has, is it possible that he is coming over to displays his fighting skills in the octagon? And if he does, will he have success?
