Reigning UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva has been voted by the fans as the next mixed martial arts athlete to grace the cover of the UFC Undisputed 3 video game from THQ.

Says Danny Bilson, Executive Vice President, Core Games:

"Enabling fans worldwide to select the UFC Undisputed 3 cover athlete has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Anderson Silva possesses a tremendous work ethic and incredible prowess inside the Octagon, making him an excellent choice to serve as our cover athlete for the game."

UFC Undisputed 3 comes with a "PRIDE mode," which might give you the chance to play as Ryo Chonan and catch "The Spider" in a heel hook from their Dec. 2004 mash-up.

It's likely to be about as close as anyone gets to beating him in the foreseeable future.
