Is this sour grapes after Alves defected to the "Dolce Diet?" Or has the "Pitbull" camp resorted to extreme measures?
“I think each athlete must feel good with what they can have. I feel happy to know he is satisfied with what he has now and wish him good luck. I’ve been told that now there are three professionals and a liposuction guy trying to do what I did before. Very good for him"
Former "Pitbull" strength and conditioning coach Andre Benkei tells Fighters Only that former UFC welterweight number one contender Thiago Alves employed a team of professionals and a "liposuction guy" to help him make 171-pounds in his most recent fight against John Howard at UFC 124 back in December. Alves not only looked great in his unanimous decision win over "Doomsday," but also helped erase the memories of his disappointing loss to Jon Fitch (and his failure to make weight) earlier that year. Anyone think the Brazilian used the fat vacuum to hit his mark?
