People have this misconception that...
MMA fighters would want to stand with a pro boxer. What about MMA fighters who came from a striking base? MT fighters and kickboxers have desroyed boxers on the feet! Rampage game is boxing so I do think he’d have to mix up his wrestling skills with Toney but Anderson, Shogun or Machida could out strike Toney. Never knew Toney could handle kicks, elbows and a MT clinch with knees. Maruc Davis was a pro boxer too and look at everyone who’s out scrapped him. Granted he wasn’t near Toney’s level but the guys who beat him aren’t the top strikers in MMA either.
Coker feels the rankings are unjustified because Werdum beat Fedor so he thinks he should be #1. What he doesn't realize is that Fedor was only considered #1 for the fact that there was no clear cut stand out in the UFC's HW division at that time and with Fedor ducking top competition the rankings still must be set. Someone had to be placed in that #1 spot so because of this and of his longevity he stayed there from his Pride days. The guy had not proved he was still the #1 HW since those days when he's not facing top 5 guys unlike other #1 ranked fighters in their divisions who clean them out.

I wouldn’t mind seeing it! I can’t think of anyone else I would like to see Rampage fight off the top of my head. Maybe Thiago Silva, but I like both guys so a freak show like this would be more suited for me.

after ko’ing wanderlei rampage took another three shots to silva’s dome while he was unconsious, even when the ref was trying to stop him.
while i can understand the frustration and anger inside rampage for getting two of the worst beatdowns ever from silva, those three shots were totally unnecessary
the ref should have tried harder.

The good thing about this fight if it happens,
is that we actually get to see Toney gets his ass kicked. Randy just took him down and ended the fight. Page will beat the shit out of him for awhile. Page vs phoney Toney ain’t gonna happen. Rampage is unpredictable and with all the hype surrounding the two men and the fight rekindling the MMA Vs Boxing debate, Dana ain’t gonna trust Mr. Page with that responsibility…
I don’t think Phoney toney would ever fight in the UFC, even if he did, the UFC won’t let this solider (Rampage) go fight the battle for them, at least not for this fight!
