Following a unanimous decision loss to Charlie Brennamen (12-2) at UFC Fight Night 23: "Fight for the Troops 2" on Jan. 22, Amilcar Alves (11-3) has been released by Zuffa, according to TheGarv.com. The Brazilain judo specialist went 11-1 before entering the UFC where he lost his only two fights.
