As you all know Brock Lesnar is set to square off against Junior Dos Santos after TUF 13 wraps up at UFC 131 later this year. What some of you may know is that this is pretty much a number one contender fight for the shot at Cain after he gets his shoulder together. What only me and Danago know is that this is a very close fight on paper, both guys have the skills to put the other away in quick and convincing fashion.
I myself have never been a fan of the Brockness Monster. His pro wrestling background coupled with his post UFC 100 antics and being prematurely labeled "The Baddest Man on the Planet" just rubbed me the wrong way. That being said he is without a doubt the biggest strongest heavyweight this side of The Reem. He's a fucking steamroller with legs, the guy hunts Moose with his "bear" hands. He is literally the stuff of nightmares, so lets start with the breakdown. Brock has a double leg that is almost unstoppable, it's quick it's technically sound and you'd probably have better luck beating Stephan Bonnar in a staring contest than stopping it.
You don't stand a fucking chance.
And I don't care who you are if a few of those lunchboxes connect you won't remember what your hot ass wife looks like. (That was directed at mythbuster because obviously that wouldn't be a problem for Junior) In conclusion, the fact that Junior's ground game is an unknown unknown means that in all likely hood unless he can land that fight ender right off the back it's gonna get ugly quick.
Now don't think I'm playing favorites here Junior's path to victory is as clear cut as Brocks, it goes something like this.
When y'all are at home practicing your Steven Segal moves in the mirror have you ever tried to copy Junior? That lead uppercut he throws is freaking retarded. I mean I have no idea how he gets it to connect like that, do you know what happens when you throw a combo like that on a regular basis?
Ask this guy.
I'm not dropping any knowledge on anyone when I say this fight could end in one punch, but don't forget that Junior throws some of the prettiest knees from the clinch out there. And not just from the tie collar either, he throws efficiently from any clinch position and I think will play a big part in keeping Cigano off his ass.
