Tim Sylvia will retire -- once he wins another world title (Video)

"The Mainiac" continues his journey back to said title when he takes on Abe Wagner in the main event of Titan Fighting Championships 16 on Jan. 28. Who's got it in them to predict a successful return to the top for the former UFC heavyweight champion? Anyone?

So I'm guessing he will never retire

Because the only titles that can be consider WORLD title are UFC and maybe Strikeforce and Dream, but really only the UFC one

It's fun until someone gets hurt...... then it's hilarious

I wouldnt mind watching Bock beat the living shit out of him!

Can the fans just create a world title and award it to him, so I can forget the fact that I know Big Poopy even exsists?

If he beats Abe and Ricco he will get a shot in SF, Dream or the UFC

this being the case the guy will be fighting longer than Severn.

He has no way of winning UFC, Strikeforce or Dream HW belt. Overeem would break his face into so many pieces you would need a dustpan and brush to collect them all.

Cain would beat him in literally any kind of combat sport. Even fencing.

by relentless7 on Jan 26, 2011 6:23 AM EST reply actions

Considering Alistair is just the interim and might not fight in Dream this year with SF and K1 aspirations I wouldnt be surprised to see a Big Tim HW Title fight vs someone in Dream.

Unfortunatly, there doesnt seem to be any hope for anymore DREAM and/or K1 shows. At least for the time being, unless someone pulls some magic outta there asses, JMMA is on its way out. :/ Makes me a sad Panda knowing so too :( Hopefully if Dream an K1 do die, DEEP will pickup or Sengoku…

Good Lord

I remember just before Timmy fought Ray Mercer, Jens Pulver was begging him to stop.
Jens Pulver.
The guy has had more comebacks than The Who.
Some guys just don’t know when to quit…….I’d hate to see him get hurt. He was decent in his era but the sport has evolved beyond him and just being a big guy isn’t good enough.
I just hope he doesn’t get his dumb ass hurt.

I think he’s a better fighter than most give him credit but he’s hardly up there with the best in the world right now, at his best maybe he was up there not now. I feel kinda sorry in a way for this guy, but he really does put a huge bulls eye on himself and does/says some stupids things.
