That's the problem with wanting to go out with a win

he’ll get it in his head “ok now if i win one more that’ll be a two fight winning streak. Then one more after that and I’m back baby. So let me do at least one more…”

congrats jens!

now hang’em up. Sadly i was too new to the sport and only catched most of his loses but the man put on some great fights before that and it’s time to retire a legend

he said he just wanted a win then Lil Evil can be put to rest.

Thanks for all the years Jens.

If the round is too close, it's 10-10, NOT flip a coin 10-9 or late takedown FTW.

The problem is

this will only encourage him. No way he retires after this fight. I don’t believe the “going out on my own terms” BS.

He should fight one more time

He has to feel a tremendous amount of pressure has been lifted and should have some self-confidence back. I’d like to see him fight one more time and put on a show.

and ending it in only 49 secs

isn’t going to help discourage him from continuing either.

Congrats now Lil evil can rest it’s been along time coming but you will always be remembered just don’t let a 49 sec victory go to your head and go fight again

Last I heard, he’s got a fight scheduled in the Chicago Fighting Championships this March, so it seems like the retirement might be put on hold…

Oh it was a good time! Got to congratulate Jens he was real cool.

Everyone was cheering for him. Also i went to the fight with the Diehl family. Joey the real Diehl had his first profight and looked great in his victory. He was 11-1 before going pro. He trains with team curran. He fights at 125 lbs. Look for him in the future the sky is the limit for this kid. I met that kid from the tapout show aswell (sunshine) good times.

With the win over the legend Matt Hughes the gates are slowly being greased. Soon it will be time to open the Shit gates once again.

Fights at 125???

Didn’t realize there was a weight category for anorexic’s but why not – gays are openly accepted in the public, I’m sure somewhere on this earth you can marry an animal, and a man was having sex with a dolphin so I say open it up to people with eating disorders.

Beware of the Brock threads troll - everyone on this site knows who that is

by hairybumcrack on Jan 23, 2011 1:33 PM EST up reply actions

you didnt know they had a 125 class?

yeh the ufc just picked up 135 and 145 . And down the road they will also pick up the 125. The 125ers walk around at about 140. glad to inform you hairy. :)

I love that pic

Thank the heavens Lil Evil has a win again! The guy deserves his props for sticking it out and not giving up. I will not be expecting Pulver to retire just yet either. With a much needed dose of self-confidence Jens can do another fight and perform even better. But even if he gets destroyed in that fight he can retire with his head held high. Good Job Jens!

WTF?

This win was against a tomato can ! and a no name tomato can at that ! Jens needs to retire and pursue other opportunities that can add to his reputation in a positive way. This fight was a joke and the subsequent win is a joke !
