Count Dennis Siver among the German-born fighters booked for a return home as he goes mano-a-mano with Ultimate Fighter (TUF) veteran Andre Winner on the Spike TV airwaves for UFC 122 on Nov. 13 from the Konig Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Germany, according to MMA Fighting.
After falling to Ross Pearson on the judge's scorecards at UFC Fight Night 21 back in March, Siver (16-7) rebounded by outpointing Spencer Fisher at TUF 11 Finale just a few months later on June 19.
Following a rocky 1-3 start after his 2007 debut, the Manheim striker has improved to 5-1, including a string of four straight victories prior to facing "The Real Deal."
No question he's looking to make some noise in front of a hometown crowd this November.
Like Siver, Winner (11-4-1) was in cruise control over his past couple of fights, until the venerable Nik Lentz frustrated him en route to a unanimous decision loss at UFC 118: "Edgar vs. Penn 2" just last month.
After an impressive performance on the Spike TV reality show, Winner came up short against Ross Pearson in the June 2009 live finale. The Team Rough House product now stands at 2-2 inside the Octagon.
Headlined by Vitor Belfort vs. Yushin Okami, UFC 122 is expected to feature a bevy of German natives -- though no official match-ups have been announced at this time. Stay tuned to MMAmania.com for more information on this still developing fight card.
