James Toney responds to Vitor Belfort calling him out

Vitor Belfort called out James Toney a few days ago, asking Dana White for a 6 round boxing match inside the octagon. Vitor thinks he can catch Toney with his speed. Well Toney has responded to his request with this.
"Tell Vitor Belfort let’s make it happen. I like that because he ain’t no scared little bitch. He wants to come to my world and I’m more than willing to welcome him into my world."
I know this fight would never happen in the UFC, but just for fun who do you think would win?

I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Glory favors the bold. Chance favors the prepared mind. Luck, well i have that too. University of Utah goes to the Pac-12 conference in 2011. I expect them to compete immediately for the conference CG. Brock Lesnar will defeat Cain Velasquez. Womens MMA, the next big thing in sports. Utah and Boise take care of business in week one. Don't be surprised if they both go undefeated.

I think toney would still beat any fighter in the ufc if it was just throwing hands….you are talking years and years of nothing but throwing hands and footwork….just like any grappler would most likely beat any strick boxer if it was just grappling….I’m not nuthugging, I’m a vitor fan, but we gotta be real.

I would usually agree
but Toney’s footwork isn’t that great. and never really has been. His thing has always been the way he rolls with punches. No one rolls with punches like he does. he takes so much impact away from them by the way his body naturally moves. Almost as good as Floyd’s in his defense and ability to not get hit with big punches. BUT the fact that Vitor’s style would totally be unorthodox to him I think would give Vitor the SLIGHT edge.

I would agree if Vitor were an average mma striker or if Toney were in his prime. But Vitor has boxed professionally, and Toney is . . . well, Toney. He seems like he’s already getting his Parkinson’s on.

So the real question is
Who translated that for JT?
Not only does BJ Penn quit on his stool versus guys that are bigger than him...He gets tooled by guys that are SMALLER than him. BJ should just stick to jumping out of pools, not fighting. I shoulda listened to Ulf.
This isn't as close as some of you think
Vitor has almost zero punch defense and WILL get caught sooner or later by Toney. Yeah Toney is out of shape and older BUT his reflexes and his natural ability will take over and he would school Vitor.
That said VItor could “Frankie Edgar” him but I don’t see Vitor doing something like that since he will commit to standing in the box and trading with him thinking his hands are faster and that Toney is a slug.

Vitor is faster and has more power power+speed=damn your fucked and its not like Vitor is not good with his hands because he definitely is.
If you dont like drugs then dont do them.....give them to me!
