but the TUF 10 Heavyweights was pretty entertaining, even though I don’t like watching big lumbering heavyweights fight LOL the show itself was hilarious

…if you don’t appreciate all this dry man humping that goes on lately in the UFC – but you notice the highlights for both of these “safe” huggers does not include them lying on the floor and changing position every 30 seconds (again much like watching porn) so what does that tell you people want to see? I think refs should be told to separate/stand up fighters far quicker than they do.

The Andre Winner fight from the last UFC really pissed me off, his TD defence was better than the other guy’s offence for most of the fight – he also got some crisp strikes in briefly, but it shows if you only want to hug for 3 rounds you’ll get the W. Sad. Hugging is pretty hard to actually defend against if that’s all your opponent wants…

ok, so, this is the 12th season of the ultimate fighter and while it won’t be the last, it should. the show has gone from being late to “reality television” to being an outdated version of itself. charles darwin meet dana white, dana white, you’ll have to read a couple of paragraphs, maybe, a chapter. i know this tasks seems too much and you might just swear but remember, you’re going to oxford because they don’t quite comprehend how someone with your intelligence and inability to create new and improved products could be so successful.

darwin asserted that to survive one must evolve. the ufc is still at its core a production. the curtain has fallen and mysteriously risen one too many times for me. the ufc has not evolved and i suspect that i’m not the only fan who senses this. i’m disappointed that someone in their “prime” is filming a television show, again. its history repeating itself, again. what’s upsetting in particular is that the ufc hasn’t offered us MORE! they’ve managed to charge us more for PPV, despite their increased frequency and arguable lower quality. they’re insistence on shelving champs for bs makes me angry and left wondering why it is that gsp is healthy, unlike silva, shogun, and on television.

this show will not produce a ufc champion and at the conclusion, we’ll see two coaches fight each other again in a rematch.

what the ufc should do is keep their champs busy when healthy. this helps them make $ and as Dana White has posited countless times- fighters have a very small “window.” of course, dana doesn’t care about this as he’ll continue to benefit well past his “prime.” so instead of having champs fight for $, the fans, their legacy and legitimacy as titleholders we’re faced with a situation were we have the 12th season of a stupid show that hasn’t produced a champ in a long long time. moreover, the show is able to advertise fighters that the ufc can go an “build” vs. going and getting already established fighters… they can do this because we’ve allowed them to become the market leader.

dana, you said you were going to give us something for watching the silva maia debacle. personally, i think you owe us nothing but you made a public statement and most would feel that their was presumptive trust behind your words: where is it dana?

of course, i have no solution to this problem. for that matter, i have few solutions for the 1500 problems the ufc has. i don’t like supporting this type of business for the same reason i don’t like paying full retail. i see the prices for tickets and i’m thinking this is a problem. either people’s priorities are very different than mine or folks are being silly and charging for this crap.

i used to watch ufc shows on tv and order ppv while at university. now that i don’t do my finances with bank of mom and dad, there are other more exciting and rewarding endeavors. i feel like the ufc is standing still and i want to keep moving ahead.

dana, treat people well, don’t swear (i’m not offended, it just makes you look dumb, and as a reprsentative of the sport and its fans, you’re embarrasing). if, the ufc ever wants to be taken seriously, they’ll have to evolve and they’ll have to remove dana from the spotlight- many of us on this forum could run the ufc on a day to day basis, strategically, operationally, managerially better than dana- how many of you could be gsp or kos- where is the value and wtf is dana white doing in this scenario- he’s dead whether he knows it or not.
