Ross Pearson UFC Fight Night 22 video blog (Part 1)

The "Real Deal" is a -280 favorite for Sept. 15. Will he perform accordingly against "Magrinho?"

"Are you from London?"

lol.

“Everyone likes Geordies”

lmao

“Dirty scouser”

roflcopter.

Geordie is derived from a name of a mining lamp designed by a guy called George.

Pearson isn’t a Geordie, he’s a Mackem. Much nicer folk.

Great comments Terminhater (from a fellow Mackem)

BUT the miners lamp is called a Davy Lamp to my knowledge.

Totally baffled why Ross (and his bird) are saying they are Geordies?? Ariel actually announces him from Sunderland…

Anyway, great fighter but the odds dont reflect how hard a fight this is for him.

I'm not a Mackem

I’ve just had much better away trips to the SOL than sportsdirect.com@St. James’ Park (or whatever those knobheads call it now).

I agree about how tough Pearson’s next fight will be, he’s not getting the ‘Bisping treatment’ by any stretch of imagination. That said I reckon he’ll come away with a TKO, Miller got dropped by Escudero (who to my knowledge isn’t particularly heavy hitting) and Ross has the cardio to overwhelm him.

Checked your profile

Are you a Brummie? Villa?

Yeah, our friends up the road tend to make it easy for us to smile these days. Some of the crap which happens up there you couldn’t make up!

Totally agree with Pearsons run being more difficult than Pings. I honestly thought he would lose to Riley but he showed how much he’s developed in that fight. Miller is dangerous with subs but that is it. Ross just has to use his speed and he’ll be alright. I’d like to see him stop Miller but may be asking too much…

Yeah I'm a Brummie and support Villa

and I know what you mean about Miller’s subs but I honestly think Ross has taken TDD seriously enough to keep it standing. He’s gone to train wrestling stateside (with Edgar no less) so he’s already a step ahead of most of our lot on that front.

yeah, lets hope he pulls it off

Also, thanks for sending the mags down a couple of seasons ago.

I enjoyed it immensely!

miller by sub

Ross doesnt have the ground skills to hang with miller.

As long as miller doesnt get to overagressive and takes this fight to the ground he will win this.

Ross is a decent fighter but he has nothing that miller has to worry about

Pearson is the only British fighter I like, I like Hardy a little but absolutely hate Bisbing and Daley. Pearson seems like an ok dude and has great skills. This guy unlike Bisbing has the skills to headline a UFC one day.

hosts comment

I thought his comment was cool. About how the next day after an event he goes places and looks around. He wonders if anyone has any idea what he has witnessed/experieneced the night before. Its like our own little club he says. I feel this exact same way. God I love being an MMA fan.
