TUF 12 Finale: Stephan Bonnar vs Igor Pokrajac booked for Dec. 4 in Las Vegas

The season finale of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 12 looks to have its first match-up on paper as former Spike TV reality show contestant and fan favorite Stephan Bonnar will lock horns with Croatian crusher Igor Pokrajac on Dec. 4 in Las Vegas.

MMAmania.com was able to confirm an initial report by ESPN host Jon Anik earlier today.

Bonnar (12-7), treading water after posting three consecutive losses, was able to get back into the win column with an emphatic win over fellow TUF veteran Krzysztof Soszynski at UFC 110: "Nogueira vs. Velasquez" earlier this year.

"The American Psycho" earned "Fight of the Night" with his stoppage of "The Polish Experiment" and could slowly start to re-establish his presence in the UFC's light heavyweight division with another impressive performance in "Sin City" this December.

Star-divide

Standing in his way is Pokrajac (22-7), who also rebounded from consecutive losses when he choked out free-falling  veteran James Irvin at the UFC on Versus 2 event last month in San Diego.

It was his first win under the UFC banner after racking up eight straight W's overseas. No question that stopping Bonnar could be a one-way ticket to bigger and better things in 2011.

TUF 12 Finale will feature the top two finalists from this season going head-to-head for a "six-figure" contract and the right to be called "Ultimate Fighter."

Stay tuned to MMAmania.com for more information on this still-developing fight card.

I guess Bonnar has finally found his true role in the UFC. He is going lead the new internal project at Zuffa to clean out all the fighters who have names that nobody can spell or market.

Vitor is coming. Somebody better polish up that MW belt.

2nd!

the brockness monster grinds up teenagers and puts them in his protein shakes..and uses razor blades to chop toddlers up into lines to snort like meth...the reason no one can find bigfoot is because the brockness monster found him years ago and now has him in numerous ziplock bags in the back of his freezer...

Bonnar's last fight was very entertaining.

The way he looked at the camera at the end with his fist up and his face all busted up made me laugh at loud. He earned more of my respect that night.

God hasn't this guy been cut yet?

No one wants to see him or his zero personality booth work.

Didn't Dana say he would never cut Bonnar or Griffin?

yeah Stephan better hope he doesn't draw a fight against Alex G.

he would get destroyed, imo, but I may be overrating Alex here.

I should never have doubted the wisdom of David W-S or the talent of Junior Dos Santos…and screw Dana White

Bonar “was able to get back into the win column with an emphatic win over fellow TUF veteran Krzysztof Soszynski at UFC 110”? Pretty sure Bonar lost that fight. Come on Jesse do your research.

who is Bonar?

you can spell krysztof soszynski but lack the required computing power to get Bonnar accurate?
someone else could use some time on research.

Bonnar lost due to a cut at 110 then appealed to have it a draw. it was denied and then avenged the loss at 116.

You get the fights you deserve

Don’t see what everyone’s issue is. He’s an entertaining fighter who’s never been finished, and with obvious history with the UFC. And the guys he is fighting are his caliber so what’s the problem.

If he was better he’d fight better guys .

Finish Him!
