This is good to see. Now alot of the fans that watch UFC and watch Spike that were never fortunate enough to catch Pride will get to catch the full experience. Fedor, Nog’s, Mirko, Shogun, etc.
This has been going on for awhile on Spike Evolution
But there has been no Fedor fights aired tell now? The question is why now?

Hopefully with his loss and the floundering of DREAM M-1 will back off on their co-promotion demands.
Obviously the UFC isn’t going to co-promote, maybe they want to show Fedor the exposure and marketing they can give him if he decides to jump shit and join the UFC.

"Jump Shit" what does that even mean?

Leave Strikeforce.

Obviously that's what I meant.
But it’s probably a bad sign when I didn’t notice it when I mistyped it or when the mistake was pointed out to me. Good thing I’m comfortable with my vulgarity.

Lets hope, the question would it be a realistic hope?
Now how much is the co-promotion really getting M1 if much at all? We know the UFC gives PPV share bonuses and if M1 does the math maybe they see that they could make more money than what they are getting right now with the co-promotion deal?

If Fedor got a PPV% a fight with Brock would be a pretty incredible pay day.

Well now they gave up on co-promotion....
all they want is co-branding. And yes, Fedor would have commanded the highest salary in MMA to this point had M-1 taken the deal. Especially since M-1 logos were also going to be allowed in the cage.

I find it funny that every FEdor thread on MAnia was guarantedd 100-150+ comments until he lost to Werdum....now he is lucky to get 40.

Because there are many people that just jump on the bandwagon. When Brock loses or Anderson or gsp lose the same will happen to them.

I'm not so sure about that.
All the aforementioned fighters have lost, and it resulted in them coming back better than before. We’ve yet to see if that happens with Fedor. Plus, the huge numbers of comments were a result of his aura of invincibility and the controversy over whether or not he’d eventually join the UFC. My how times have changed.

The only way he gets all his popularity back is if he avenges his loss and also defeats Reem. Besides that he would have to join the ufc
He doesn't need to prove nothing. He can loss to Werdum again or even Overeem and will always have my admiration. He's a legacy, an example. Losses happen to who fight.

POPULARITY AND LEGACY
Im talking about him being popular again and everyone talking about him. He could retire today and his legacy would stand. But as far as being popular and everyone making a big deal about everything he does again and getting his invincibility back he would have to beat both werdum and Reem
Finally!
I was wondering when Dana would give In and put those fights on.

He didn't give in.....
he just has no reason not to show them now. In fact it’s more advantageous for him to expose a greater mass to fedor and when they go check on him, the first thing they notice is his last fight being a loss.

I am suprosed he did not air Fedor vids the day after his loss…of course against everyone that is not in the UFC. :)

If I were Dana I'd show
1) Fedor losing to TK
2) Fedor almost having his head taken off by that legendary striker “Iron Head” Fujita
3) Beating up on monstorously oversized can Zuluzinhio
That way any casual fans of MMA’ll be like “why’s this guy so highly rated, fuck watching his next SF fight”
Clever. And that would be a very Dana-ish thing to do.

DW owns the rights, he can play this anyway he wants.

Could be Ulf
Show the guy he beat lose to another guy that didn’t do so well in the UFC like Coleman the casual fans could be influenced?

absolutely...I was thinking Randalman
Huge powerbomb into the armbar, but play it off as a HUGE comeback win (which it was) and then show Randalman losing to _(pick the UFC fighter that didn’t beat him!)

And SF's footage consists of...
One punch to drop big poopy
One punch to drop AA after getting beat up a little.
One punch to drop the tire man after getting beat up and bloodied.
One fall into a triangle choke.
Did I miss any?and actually I am not sure that SF owns the Elite XC footage, but it does not paint a pretty picture of his career.

Maybe...
It’s a sign that the relationship between fedor and the ufc is improving and they are talking business?

Im still holding out
in hopes that Fedor will one day be in the UFC, which is really very very possible when you set aside all the bullshit from both sides.
They are probably talking again its the only time Dana even mentions Fedor.
If i were Fedor i would leave SF the only fights he will get are Bigfoot or Reem both guys have a way way way way 10000x better chance of beating him then anyone in the UFC its much easier to join the UFC and get a title+all the bandwagon jumpers back on also will make all the stupid tuffers talk about how amazing he is now that hes in the ufc and how hes totally the best because hes a ufc fighter and how they want to train ufc with him…..
If you dont like drugs then dont do them.....give them to me!
