I had to go with Shadyone on this one, the shot at BJ lacking heart was priceless. It was a tough call though, because attakdog’s shot at Cote was pretty brilliant as well. Great job gentlemen.

I loved the one by attackdog about the guaranteed shot at Cote! very close to voting for that one…can’t believe it’s in last place.
I wanted to vote for the Penn one because I hate that slacker. But it was more TRUTH than humor and I saw it coming a mile away.
Went with the Randy/Toney one because it was a one-time chance. Don’t think that joke will ever work again cause we’ll never see another MMA match with a fat guy who doesn’t know how to defend a Jr.High wrestling move.

August 28th was an emotional day for me. Two events occurred that brought me to my knees:
1. BJ Penn lost to Frankie Edgar for the second time, proving to me that he is nowhere near the caliber of man that I made him out to be.
2. I found out that the cardio portion of Frankie Edgar’s training camp consisted of Frankie banging my mom while the arm.bar.bandit played the spanish guitar and sang "Eye of the tiger" by Survivor.

I think that GSP is just about the only fighter that uses his wrestling the right way. He gets the take down and then advances to a better position, always staying busy. I can name more the a few fights that just use wrestling to hold and stall for the win, now that’s boring! GSP is a fighter that is fun to watch but I guess people can’t appreciate the skill and technical ability it takes to do what his does and make it look easy.
If he can learn how to finish then I will agree!

GSP has a 65% rate of finishing his fights, people want 100%. In 22 fight he has 8 T(OK) and 5 sub with 7 Decisions. He has more T(OK) then decision but its what have you done for me lately. The knowledge level of MMA fans is becoming upsetting!

I didn’t vote for it either, but OJR’s work was done. He is an impartial creator of the post and does what he can to make it enjoyable for all. If JH wants to mainpage the post, so be it…if random readers (not regular posters) want to vote on random quotes, so be it.
The fact that it got mainpaged does not detract from the post. It might skew the votes, but the good quotes are still there, which is what I believe was the intent…to share the best quotes of the week. If people are too lazy to read them …ready?…so be it. :)

I think it is completely on the summaries, not the actual quote.
I guess it really doesn’t matter to me. The people that open the thread and comment, or vote for real, are more likely to comment and add to the discussion, which is a bonus.
Maybe OJR should just list number 1-5, then there is no real choice on the main page.

im fucking sexy...im a certified massage therapist..its what i went to school for..
went 2 years and am board certified nationally…in pretty much everything…
i own a tanning salon right now, and spend bout 60 hours a week there..so thats what i do with most of my time, but i have about 5 clients weekly that i see outside the salon…
its a good business to be in…if you have a constant clientele you can bank…i charge 60 an hour and have normally 5 people a week…if i wasnt so busy with the tanning salon and doin music and vids for the websites that i run id have more time…
