Vitor Belfort speaks about title shot versus Anderson Silva

“Now yes, everything is all set. The fight is already scheduled to Jan 1st 2011 in Las Vegas at UFC end of year event. Surely it’s going to be the turn of year with the greatest number of Brazilian here. Everyone is invited (LOL). My shoulder is 100% perfect. I’m training normally and will get ready to the fight. Dana called me yesterday but he asked me not to comment about the matter until his announcement, so I couldn’t say nothing. I still have a good time for the match-up. Of course the strategy is going to the set again but I won’t need to travel. It’s going to the another title shot, one more dream accomplished. Anderson will be my toughest opponent as the next will too. The next adversary is always the most difficult. I’m training the maximum to see what will happen on the fight time. I’ll be ready”

A very confident contender is focused to get another UFC title. Vitor Belfort was announced today as the next man in line for the middleweight reigning champion Anderson Silva, in a bout set for January 1st 2011. Speaking to R7.com, “The Phenom” confirmed that his shoulder is 100% healthy for the title contention and the time available for fight is sufficient to plan the right game to stop “The Spider”. What do you make of this show? Was this the bout you were expecting for? Sound off, maniacs.
