Entertaining?

Im listening to Linken Park The Catalyst and watched this video and it still let me down.
Butterbean looked about as effective as a turtle on it’s shell.

Get rid of these kinds of fights. Bad for the sport.

At least Pudz looked more slender – maybe hes actually going to try to make a run. But where’s he running? SF is too deep for him.

As we always suspected - Jackson's MMA secures another victory under suspicious circumstances. Freenow82 called it and is seldom wrong when pre diagnosing a Lay n Pray / Vaseline victory before it happens. Free 2 - BZ 3... I smell a come back.

It's obvious, but... that was not impressive... at all.

Look, I’m 5’10 and 180 lbs. and I have no mma training. However, I’m reasonably confident that IF I could get Butterbean to the ground (and considering his weight/balance, that wouldn’t be too much of a feat), I could probably get him to tap due to strikes, too.

This fight has to be fixed........seriously....this gif says it all imo............

He does not land one effective strike, it is like they had it planned for the ref to step in but in the end Butterbean had to tap to give Pudz the W.

plus did'nt butterbean promote the sylvia vs pudz fight?

I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Glory favors the bold. Chance favors the prepared mind. Luck, well i have that too. University of Utah goes to the Pac-12 conference in 2011. I expect them to compete immediately for the conference CG. Brock Lesnar will defeat Cain Velasquez. The most hated and misunderstood person on the MMA blogs.. Utah and Boise take care of business in week one. Don't be surprised if they both go undefeated.

MMABay recently has unearthed one of the most scandalous stories in mixed martial arts of the past few years, a story that came to fruition earlier this week much to our disappointment.

We were contacted a few weeks ago by a source close to a well known MMA star (fighter A) who told us that an arrangement had been made for this fighter to win his next fight in easy a fashion. Not one to shy away from confronting the situation, we contacted the other fighter (fighter B) who had been paid to throw the fight and they did everything but deny the allegations we presented him with. With me so far? Good…

MMABay – Well between me and you I heard you’ve been paid to throw the fight and that he’ll be then promoted by you later as part of a fight card in Chicago, which will be fixed as well. If this is the case, keep this kind of behaviour where it belongs… in the boxing world.

Fighter – FIXED? LMFAO You want a interview Fly out to where I live and I will give you one in person. Give me your # too. Do you want to meet me at my house for a interview? Let me know. ****!

MMABay – Very adult ****. Notice you didn’t deny it though. Look, I’m a journo… I get approached by a VERY reliable source and I come to you asking for your side of the story and this is what I get. Looks like I’m not the only one he’s been speaking to so I thought I’d give you the chance to give your side of things.

Fighter – You didn’t answer me. You asked and I said yes. You coming or what?? No # ether?? WELL I THINK YOUR FULL OF SHIT!! WELL ANSWER ME? P.S.Is this the interview? Or do you want me to answer that question in the interview in person??

MMABay – I live in the UK ****. I’ll be happy to give you my number tomorrow when I’m home. This isn’t the interview, unless you want it to be… And when you say yes… does that mean yes to you taking money from ************? In fact, do you have a spare 30 mins tomorrow? Say 11.30am PST to appear on MMABay Radio? It goes out to 25,000 people per day…

Fighter – YOU WILL SE ME KNOCK HIM OUT!! ;) P.S. And then will you apolagize??

This week that fighter was taken down and pounded into oblivion, putting up little fight or resistance in the process. We at MMABay couldn’t let this go unmentioned and after giving the fighter every opportunity to refute the claims live on MMABay Radio a couple of weeks ago prior to us going to print.

If you do manage to put two and two together and guess who we’re talking about you won’t be surprised to know there are plans for fighter A to fight for fighter B’s promotion next time out in America and guess what… that one’s fixed as well.

I like fighting.

It may look like zero to us

But the man is a former strongman. Obviously he has some serious power.

I do not think this was a fix. I just think this was a typical freak show fight.

He never landed though!!!

You’re telling me Butterbean tapped out due to the pain of so many blows to the arms????

by attakdog on Sep 20, 2010 11:16 AM EDT up reply actions

true

watching it again a lot of it didn’t get through and butterbean is no doubt as tough as they come…Some still got through. I just don’t want to jump to the ‘fix’ part without hardcore proof.

He may have just felt that he had no chance of getting back up so he quit.

Yeah coz Pudz is an awesome wrestler

he never even tried P-Dub! he just lay there like a whale waiting for greenpeace to roll him back in the ocean. What was the harm in rolling to his stomach and standing from there? Not like Pudz was gonna RNC him!!

by attakdog on Sep 20, 2010 11:46 AM EDT up reply actions

Only because Butterbean is too fat to mount. Otherwise I’m sure that an awesome fighter like Pudz would have started dropping haymakers on his face. If he had tried to mount him, Pudz’ feet wouldn’t have reached the floor and it would have looked like a rodeo event.

what a couple of fucking losers.

I knew those “hammerfists” had NOTHING on em. Just a bunch of random flailing and Pudz trying to look “overwhelming” so it would be stopped/sold.

tkkpal, who are you talking about? Did I miss something?

Anderson Silva is by far the number one P4P king!!! Even when he is losing a fight he still comes back and finishes for the win! GSP dominates the whole fight and still can't finish! LOL

Go to mmabay.co.uk MBOW

They claim to have evidence of a fixed fight. Putting 2 and 2 together this fight fits the bill.

Fedor invented a language that incorporates Sambo and Kimuras.

So next time FEDOR is kicking your ass, don't be offended or hurt, he may be just trying to tell you he likes your hat.

But Pudz is a hero there, so I’m sure the fight was watched by 10 times the amount of people who saw the last UFC Fight Night.

Well,

that was a bit of a joke,as expected.
Pud looks like he hits pretty soft for a former mulit time “WSM”.
Another former steroid user in MMA…….A career long user in this case.
(Please don’t anyone try to tell me that he wasn’t)
There seems to be a lot of them in this sport and it is putting me off it a bit to be honest.

When your that fat

the only thing you can be good at is getting fatter. Im not sure why so many people dont take MMA seriously! You can take any two people that you want to see in a fight, put them on an card somewhere and call it MMA. Sorry but this crap contributes to some thinking MMA is a joke!! “Overwhelemed his Boxing” lolololol, he grabbed a leg and Butterbean fell over that was it. That was a real boxing/wrestling clinic!!

No worse than Couture vs Toney if you ask me

Only this fight was where it belonged in deepest darkest third world Poland, not front and centre on a North American UFC card.

by attakdog on Sep 20, 2010 11:51 AM EDT up reply actions

I totally agree.

Was against Toney being in the cage from the begining. They shoulve put him in there with a striker like JDS or something that way there would be nothing left for boxing guys to argue about after Toney got KTFO! He aint beating ayone in the cage.

by HEELHOOK on Sep 20, 2010 12:39 PM EDT up reply actions

I agree

Mark Hunt was always my pick for the job though. Wasn’t worth risking an up and comer like JDS.
