Outside of the UFC, he's probably the biggest name out there, most highly rated. I think he's a badass, and I want to test myself. I think Nick Diaz would be a great fight for me ... Freelance mixed martial artist Paul Daley looks to keep himself in the spotlight with a career outside of the UFC after becoming the latest recipient of a Zuffa lifetime ban. "Semtex" has his sights set of Strikeforce Welterweight Champion Nick Diaz, who faces KJ Noons under the Strikeforce banner in October. Meanwhile, the Brit must first dispose of Jorge Masvidal at Shark Fights 13 later tonight. Could Daley upend the Gracie jiu-jitsu black belt with his patented power punching? Not so sure there.....
For the sake reasons that KJ is gonna carve him up. You need big takedowns to against better strikers and agianst people who can sprawl like Semtex or KJ – bending over and running forward just doesn’t cut it. Would love it if SF put this together or DREAM.

John Alessio is decent wrestler and couldn’t do much to him, Nick Thompson is a decent wrestler and he lost that fight because he kept eating jabs from 10 feet away. In fact he stuffed shields for a good while if you remember.

For Dave W-S, sorry for the Semtex = British Prick in the other thread….. I’m not anti-British … I used the term ‘british prick loosely’ to reflect the ole’ british perception of arrogance. It was made in jest with a slight hint of disgust. The disgust part meaing Daily and a couple of the other high profile brit fighters, The UFC promotes them as Brits, they promote themselves as proud Brits, lots of emphasis on British Nationality, so when I see one as a dick I called him a ‘british prick’…. meaning more or less ‘arrogant’ dickhead who happens to be British. I expect them to compete immediately for the conference CG. Brock Lesnar will defeat Cain Velasquez. Womens MMA, the next big thing in sports. Utah and Boise take care of business in week one. Anything can happen, but I would consider Daley a class below Diaz. Of course, anyone with that kind of power has a chance of a nice KO, but I would expect Diaz to pepper Daley with his patented pitter-patter punches, get him down at some point, and sub him.

This is how I see it going..
They start off boxing, Nick Diaz doing his usual thing, using that reach. But after a few minutes into round 1, Daley will hit him with something hard. Diaz falls to the ground, Daley goes in after him..and BAM, submitted.
It would be awesome though to see like a repeat of the zaromskis fight.

We still have the right to bear arms though. And marijuana is still illegal in almost every state. I dont think they will ever be able to take away our 2nd amendment rights, I do believe there has to be more gun control though.. its way to easy for people to own guns that have no business owning them…. I cant legally own a gun though so im not really up to date about the subject.

Anybody can buy a gun at a show from private sellers with no background check.
Its hard to stop sales on the street but at shows and in classified ads there should be no unregulated sales.
Im not really a big gun guy so i dont know all the ins and outs of the business.
An old friend has a 45 and a permit to carry it, and he is NOT mentally stable… tried to kill himself when were in college… He’s pulled his gun on people at party’s and is just a very unstable person… How can someone like that have a permit to carry a gun?

Easy to get a gun? Do you know the amount of loopholes a good law abiding citizen has to go thru? Background, waiting, finger printing, registration, and god forbid you have a common name youll be filling out appeal forms and waiting weeks. In some cities your not even allowed to OWN a gun. More restricitons will do nothing to lower crime. Do you think the criminals are filling out the papers so that theyre gun they murder and rob with is registered to them? doesnt happen. Here in CA your not even able to concealed carry and its horseshit. Arizona is the state to be in for freedom of rights.

Are there educated and responsible gun owner’s? Yes… That doesn’t mean everyone that has a permit is capable of making the right decisions with that gun…So do responsible, law abiding citizens suffer because of a minority of gun owning idiots? I know quite a few people who i would consider apt to be in control of 1 ton vehicle but does that mean restrictions and complete right removal in some cases should be thrusted onto you, a safe driver (think analogy again).

But just feel they could be a lil better with the regulation.. like i said about gun shows, it maybe only 5% -10% of sales at those shows but add that to how many shows they have all over the country. That’s a lot of unregulated sales they could stop… They may not all be going into the streets but the point is we don’t know.

That person might not be able to legally buy a gun, maybe for good reason. I don’t care if its 10 guns a show, multiply that by how many shows there are.. May not be on overwhelming number but it’s still more unregulated guns out there that they could stop pretty easily.

That would prove beyond a doubt hes #2WW in the world(best bjj at 170 and if he beat them standing he definitely has the best standup at 170 as well) with that said i think it would be extremely exciting as well as stupid for him to stand and bang with the both of them the much easier path is taking em down and getting that sub. 170 is his weight class where he shouldve been fighting his entire career the back and forth to 155 hurt him a ton and never allowed him to truely bulk up and dominate like he should.
