I'm not a big fan of fighters like Gray Maynard but I don't want to hear Dan Hardy and Paul Daley crying about wrestling. If your hands were as good as you guys want us to think then guess what? You would be a boxer. But the truth of the matter is these giys aren't good enough to box or kickbox so they fight mma. But if you want to fight mma,YOU HAVE TO FIGHT ON THE GROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This isn't a tough guy contest. GSP was more of a striker when he started and developed his wrestling. A Silva has some of the best hands in mma and still submits people. Rua has beaten wrestlers, strikers, and bjj guys. Do you see the pattern here. Champions develop an all around game. That is the reason the are the best and biggest names in mma. The hype job UFC gave hardy for the GSP fight has gotten to his head. He really believes he's a KO artist. As better wrestlers enter mma, this stuff will balance out. Guys will take you down if they know they can. If you have good takedown defense they won't want to waste all their energy going for a takedown they won't get. A prime chuck liddel is a perfect example. I don't like boring fights but I don't want to change the rules so that inferior fighters can have their tough guy contests under an mma banner. Agree?Disagree?
