Strikeforce today put the finishing touches on its upcoming "Challengers X" event scheduled for Aug. 13 at the Dodge Theater in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Showtime televised event will feature a main event match-up of Joe "Diesel" Riggs in a catchweight bout of 182-pounds opposite the hard-hitting Louis "Handgunz" Taylor.

Also on tap for the "Valley of the Sun" is the much-ballyhooed women's tournament designed to name the next contender for the 135-pound championship.

Rounding out the card will be the professional fighting debut of Ryan Couture, son of legendary mixed martial artists Randy "The Natural" Couture as he takes on Louis Stark.
