I never got off

I’m a die-hard Nog fan. Less so with his brother, but Big Nog has always been a fave of mine and it broke my heart to see him get KOd by Wank. I’ve been wanting this fight ever since the bell rang on the first one!

Lil Nog is gonna have his hands full that night!

just wish it was 5 rounds

Nog and Randy are 2 guys who are always better in a 5er than a 3 round fight. Nog because he takes a lot of licks early and needs time for his opponent to get tired and screw up. Couture because his cardio is off the charts and nobody can hang with him in the later rounds.

MIR WILL TAKE THIS

Nog’s got the heart but I don’t think his body can take it anymore.
Mir knows this is do or die. They may both come out in better form that the last fight but
Mir will take it by KO.

only way i see mir losing

Is if he takes nog very lightly..seeing as he bested him once and he has looked pretty pathetic minus the couture fight. Still…kinda odd to have two guys coming off ko losses as the main event.

I will say WAR NOG until he finally quits....

I don’t care if he gets knocked out 100×... I will always think Nog will win.

Really looking forward to this

I’m personally rooting for another knockout victory from Mir, but know that Nog will come better prepared this time around, so I’m also hoping for an all out war to occur, both standing up and on the ground.

Am I the only one that thinks the UFC needs a cruiserweight division for these guys?? Maybe after they get some more fighters… Just not sure how they are suppose to compete w/ the likes of Lesnar and Carwin

by bobncc98 on Aug 9, 2010 1:03 PM EDT reply actions

Problem with another weight division is Brock and Shane would be stuck fighting bums

Overeem would be the only other HW in the world that stood a chance at lets say 235+. Unless the UFC gets four or five guys that are 255+ it’s really pointless.

Cain, Overeem, Kongo, Bigfoot, AA, Rogers,

there are as many good guys now at 250+ as their are at 220-235. and the guys around 240-250 could swing back and forth, and some of the LHWs could move up to Cruiser without fear of facing 280lb monsters. It’s definitely time for a new divisions. I’d rather see a reduction in the talent pool at HW than see half it’s most talented fighters rendered irrelevant to any belt simply because they’re too small to compete with freaks like Lesnar and Carwin. It’s just not right to expect a guy Randy or Nog’s size to defend his belt against someone 60 lbs bigger! If Brock were 240, Randy would have beat that ass all night long! Look at Poor JDS? Great talent, but Lesnar and Carwin have 60 lbs on him and will rip him to pieces before he gets within a mile of the belt.

How about instead of a rematch with Mir....

There is nothing quite as satisfying as out running security after you've punched out a Flyers fan!
