So, I’ve always been a Silva fan. Not a “fall down and worship him” type of fan in a Fedor idolatry kind of way, but still a fan nonetheless. However, during that last fight, I started getting turned off. I want to see him fight, and I want to see his best all the time. If you bought tickets to see Jordan, and he decided to goof off and act like he’s hopped up on mushrooms, you might get a little riffed. I bought tickets to UFC 90, and he kinda started with that stuff there in Chicago. So, I can live with a win or loss as long as these guys go at it, and hard.
If Chael comes out and starts walkinhg in to Silva’s strikes and gets blown out early, I’ll be mad. If Silva comes out and starts that dance/fighting crap, I’ll be mad. I want to see Silva pushed. If he loses, but was in a war, I’m okay with that. If he has Chael hurt, I wanna see him FINISH! If Chael can pull off an upset in dramatic fashion, and actually back up all the trash talk, I’m okay with that too. Either way, it may be a one shot deal for Chael, and it would be a crazy scene if he pulled it off.
Yeah yeah, I know. I’m all over the map, but that’s what makes this fight so exciting for me.

Thanks…btw i took off from my job today (waiter in NY) said that my cousin is getting married so i can stay home and watch the fight…it’s costing me alot this fuckin event hopefully it’s the best event of the year…it should be
like i said in another thread, 14 fighters were overweight for this event...something is fucked up with that scale
i know that you’re allowed a pound for a non title fight…but ive never seen this many fighters actually weigh a pound overweight for a fight…there were 14 of them

i dont remember previous events weights but i thought by the majority the fighters cut to meet to limit of 1 pound over?
either way, Thiago didnt make weight again and needs to hit MW.
