The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 12 cast revealed for Sept. 15 debut on Spike TV

Tuf-12-posters_medium

And now, let's meet our contestants ...

The 28 lightweight fighters recently selected for the upcoming twelfth season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) have been revealed for the Sept. 15 debut of the Spike TV reality series.

Leading the charge will be welterweight coaches Josh Koscheck and Georges St. Pierre who in keeping with TUF tradition, will battle it out on pay-per-view shortly after the TUF 12 Live Finale on Dec. 4, 2010.

The rematch from UFC 74: "Respect" will be for St. Pierre's 170-pound title.

Now, without further ado, the TUF 12 main cast and video introductions (courtesy of Yahoo Sports) after the jump. Anyone want to lay down some early predictions? And looks aren't everything. Remember what happened to Jamie Yager on TUF 11.

This shit again.

When is it gonna stop? TUF has jumped the shark, no good guys come out of it anymore.

i agree with that

I haven’t watched it for years, all the childish" I’ve just slashed your trousers/I’ve just shat in your pillow case" pranks became very tiresome.

They should definitely limit it to one run per year.

part of the reason is the focus

On the junie brownings of the show…the antics have gotten very stale..pee in food, be obnoxious in the wee hours of the morning…its so played out..and people are getting sick of it…

Wasnt crazy horse supposed to be on this season?

This is gonna be another boring dull season, coaches are boring, fighters look boring.
My prediction: alex caceres will cause trouble in the house and all fights will end with a boring decision.

Yawn.

Knew that name sounded familiar..

TJ OBrien…. Watched him lose to Erik Koch a couple years ago… Erik Koch is is now tearing through people in WEC…

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYsRzqG_A9Q

This guys record is hilarious though… He’s won 13 fights by submission and 11 of them have been triangles… Just looks very funny when you see his record when someone wins by the same move like 10 times in a row….

Look at Cody McKenzies record

11-0. 10 submissions, his last night fights he has won by Guillotine Choke.

Early prediction: Nam Phan.

Also, someone said something about it below. McSweeney and Schaub train with Rashad and he ended up getting them both. I’m sure the coaches work something out when they KNOW they want someone.

*last nine.

Have no idea why I typed night.

by WallyBallz on Aug 3, 2010 2:19 PM EDT up reply actions

How does it work ANS?

Are you saying that its not even the traditional half the guys Team Kos, half the guys Team GSP?

I did always think I would be pissed if I really wanted to train with both guys and I only could train with 1.

they need to run all the participants

Through a 3 month cardio camp before they start the filming…soooo sick of seeing these guys gas in the second round. Its Fn sad.

PABLO GARZA BITCHES!!!

good friend and training partner of mine, actually the guy that got me started fighting. He’s a beast, usually fights at 145.

by Andrew Keller on Aug 3, 2010 12:53 PM EDT reply actions

haha the Guillotine guy is funny.

Sherdog indeed shows he won his last 9 fights in a row by guillotine.

Ado......really?
Now, without further ado, the TUF 12 main cast and video introductions

Ado, really? I think you mean adieu.

Lol, that’s right up there with the La-uh (pronounced Le dash uh)

by MagnoliaSlim on Aug 3, 2010 12:54 PM EDT reply actions

really. i don’t think they meant a french farewell, they did mean ado – time-wasting bother over trivial details…….

by magicalyak on Aug 3, 2010 1:05 PM EDT up reply actions

No stupid

I don’t mean adieu, because I’m not saying goodbye in French.

It is not enough to succeed. Others must fail.

just to piss GSP off the letter “H” is his kryptonite

i am gonna watch every damn episode...just because i can't help myself..

even when it sucked..even when i wanted to turn it off cuz of the bad antics..and even when i thought it had run it’s course..i am always hoping for the way it was in the first couple of seasons..and who’s kidding who..gsp is not hard to look at..only hard to listen to..lol

by sarah- on Aug 3, 2010 1:00 PM EDT reply actions

yea but hes from canada...who the heck wants to look at a canadian for an hour a week?

the brockness monster grinds up teenagers and puts them in his protein shakes..and uses razor blades to chop toddlers up into lines to snort like meth...the reason no one can find bigfoot is because the brockness monster found him years ago and now has him in numerous ziplock bags in the back of his freezer...

With someone from Ireland and from England does this mean we’ll have to put up with the patronising subtitles again every time they speak?

jeff lentz is the dark horse of this season. guarantee it

The 2 Armenians are going to surprise everyone. They both have great Judo and both finish fights. Search them up on youtube, you won’t be disappointed with this season since there’s 2 Armenians coming out of Southern California. BTW, Armenians always make a show fun.
