where's the Rampage one!

I like da one where they show how Rampage be slammin folk at 400 Gs and it’s the hardest hit anyone takes in any sport! Also, I remember they measured Rampage’s punch at 1800 lbs…that’s 500 more than Toney! Deal wit DAT, Boxing wusses!

"My prediction?...Pain!"

by Pitida-Fu on Aug 28, 2010 1:34 AM EDT up reply actions

I thought I remembered Rampage hitting at 1800 lbs too, but when I saw this saying Toney was only 1300, and one saying that a world kickboxing champ only kicked 1000 lbs, I thought maybe I was remembering the numbers wrong on Rampage. Guess I was right. Do you have the link to that vid, Piddy? I couldn’t find it again.

1300 lbs ain't shit!

Last time Chuck Norris hit me, it registered 8800 lbs of force. Almost bent 3 of my beard hairs!

Yes

Yes it was. I guess Mania thought this might interest those who didn’t want to sit through the whole video.

We get it….Toney hits harder. But who wrestles, kicks, GNP’s, smothers, knees, etc, etc, etc. better??? Advantage – Couture.

by Dugout on Aug 27, 2010 12:01 PM EDT reply actions

No we get it...

Why didn’t they just say it: “James Toney has about the same chance to win this as he does in becoming an ordained Jewish Athiest Muslim Priest!” seriously that was nut hugging at its best, though I do agree with a lot of what was said it just seemed like a beatdown of Toney

I would like to see how Chuck"in his prime", Rampage, and Carwin would stack up against boxers in similar weight classes.

I know Rampage was tested on that show, but I forget what number he punched in at. I know it was up there.

by naturalshadow on Aug 28, 2010 12:23 AM EDT up reply actions

Yeah, Carwin would be a sick number one would have to assume!

Don’t get me wrong Rampage has the KO power to knock out people in a super heavyweight division but Carwin just seems to be the king of planet Holy Shit He He Has Sick Power

by Edgecrusher71 on Aug 28, 2010 12:26 AM EDT up reply actions

Rampage was 2000+?

It was utterly insane.

If I was a hungry man with a gun in my hand and some promises to keep...

by misterjonez on Aug 28, 2010 2:52 AM EDT up reply actions

Rampage punched at 1800 lbs

like Pitida-Fu said. And the slam he used on Arona registered as the highest amount of force they’d ever recorded in any sport. As I recall, they said it was higher than the standard numbers used for car crashes in the auto safety industry! So it’s literally like getting hit by a truck!

"Who's da MASTA?!!!"

by (shonuff) on Aug 28, 2010 8:25 AM EDT up reply actions

I don't think Chuck's shots were that powerful.

He would knock guys out as he was leaning back and stepping away. It wasn’t his power that KOd them, it was the fact that they never saw the punch coming.

"Who's da MASTA?!!!"

by (shonuff) on Aug 28, 2010 8:26 AM EDT up reply actions

I think Chuck had a lot of power in his prime.

Look at the knockouts he had over Overeem and Mezger.

by naturalshadow on Aug 29, 2010 3:23 AM EDT up reply actions

I know they had Alexander Houston on one of these types of shows

his numbers were up there pretty high as well.

They tried to measure his ground game as well, but had no scale that would measure imaginary numbers.

Alexander Houston?

lol

Noons does not have power in his hands. Maybe his knees but his hands do not have KO power. they’re good enough to cut up and swell up gurgel’s face, but he won’t be ko’ing gurgel tonight.-STAK

dakatak must be Asian

I remember in PRIDE there was often confusion among the Japanese about which was the “first” and which was the “last” name because they reverse the order, so they didn’t know if they fighter had written it their way or the Western way.

All I know was that it sounded cool as hell when that Japanese announcer lady with the rolling "r"s used to scream: "Sakurrrrrraba KAZOOOOOOshi!

Either one of their punches will KO someone if in the right spot!

And those arcade machines that mindfuck and GSP used only require a slight downward pushing motion to register high.

Now lets forget this whole mess and all go vote for my comment on OJR’s quote of the week :-P

Not directed at you Greg

He said you made a well timed comment, but that doesn’t give us the right to turn that shit green. Green posts are for gays.

agreed OJR!

7 recs for that shit? (No offense Greg). Basic 4th grade sarcasm! Oh yeah, THAT shit is groundbreaking! Shit, even late-night British 70’s sit-com reruns on PBS are funnier than most of the shit that gets rec’d around here. You guys act like you’ve never heard sarcasm before!

You guys need to read some of Pitida-Fu’s shit. He had me blowing milk out my nose again this morning. I’ll take 6th grade toilet humor with a creative twist over flat run-o-the-mill sarcasm any day.

(again no offense to you, Greg. You just made a perfectly reasonable comment and you weren’t the one that rec’d it into insanity. This is directed at those who seem ready to bronze your keyboard and nominate you for president based on their under-evolved senses of humor.)

Manhoef beats them all

And those measures are always different, first rampage hits the bag with a haymaker with his ass on it, then Couture hits it with a poor technical straight punch, then Toney hits the bag with combinations of punches of any kind.

GSP hits that machine on cris angels’s house and does it with another poor technical straight just standing next to that thing, nothing to help him he hits like a puss and that is why he never finish his fights by KO.

by mmaniac22 on Aug 27, 2010 2:19 PM EDT reply actions

He’s knocked down almost everyone he’s faced. Sure, he doesn’t have the one punch KO power, but look at the dudes he’s knocked down, it’s pretty impressive. I haven’t seen too many people be able to knock down Hughes, Fitch or Alves (not to mention make BJ and his granite chin a walking zombie).

Neither guy is a power puncher

They need to do power punchers edition have like Vitali and who ever else is a hard hitting HW in boxing vs Carwin/Bigfoot/AA see who hits the hardest for real.

If you dont like drugs then dont do them.....give them to me!

Actually put Manhoef in there as well

Hes not a HW but he sure hits like one! Overeem as well damn im forgetting people!
