He better
KJ will light him up if he tries to stand with him

How many times has he said that. The man can only stand.
Hell even if he really really wished to santa and actually tries to, his takedowns aren’t the greatest.

Fighting Solves Everything! - Mikeybear
I like gurgel but he has the most idiotic tactic of fighting to his weakness instead of his strength
if he used his jits when he first said he would he would still be in the ufc
Arm.bar.bandit saw me slow dancing with Anderson Silva. I had my hands on his ass.
He can't take it to the ground. That's why he's been stuck striking with everyone.
His take downs are non-existent. Gurgel is getting KO’d.

No he is not.
Never been KO’d and is not starting now. Decision win for KJ in a one-sided standup fight.

KJ has some serious power. I wouldn't be surprised to see a KO.
I actually like KJ more than I like Gurgel. Can’t say that for many people.
The next Heavyweight Champion of the UFC(therefore the world), Junior Dos Santos.
Noons does not have power in his hands. Maybe his knees but his hands do not have KO power. they’re good enough to cut up and swell up gurgel’s face, but he won’t be ko’ing gurgel tonight.
No KO power?
He’s gonna be out-hitting Gurgel 50-1 in this fight and you’re absolutely postive he can’t get a KO?
The next Heavyweight Champion of the UFC(therefore the world), Junior Dos Santos.
KO is a 2-way street.
You gotta hit hard and your opponents chin has to play along.
Bullets dodge Fedor.
Absolutely positive? No, but
I have to go with history and play the odds. Gurgel has never been KO’d and Noons has never KO’d anyone with his hands. Could it happen? Of course it could since those are some damn small gloves they wear and anything is possible in mma, but I don’t think it will.
Gurgel in all of his losses as never been tko'd or ko'd...
He has been hit by some big hitters and finished a fight with a broken jaw. I am not sure I see him him getting finished. If Jorge trully takes it to the ground and that is his game plan it should be a relatively easy win for him. His ground game pedigree is leaps and bounds ahead of KJ’s ground game. With that in mind if he keeps it standing he will get picked a part and lose by points.

Jorge
You’ve said this before, this time, lets follow the gameplan. I like both fighters, Jorge has a lot of heart and is frantic which is fun to watch. K.J. is a technical guy, lots of power in punches, slick hands and very tough.
Jorge is going to have a rough one if he doesn’t take it to the ground- today is Friday.
^Exactly.
We have heard it before Jorge. I for one really like Jorge and hope he actually started fighting to his strengths. I would like to see what he can do if he actually used his BJJ instead of trying to stand and slug “for the fans”.
Everytime I hear Gurgel, the Sherk-Edgar fight comes to mind
Maybe cause in my mind that is the best example of someone not going to their strengths and just standing there like an idiot (Sherk)
Bullets dodge Fedor.
But his sound effects were very clear and audible.....
doesn’t that mean he’s winning the standing exchanges?

True, sound combinations should get points

Jorge doesn’t have the wrestling to get KJ to the ground. Noons has really good takedown defense and Jorge has really shitty takedowns. Gurgel’s weak wrestling is the reason most of his fight stay standing, even if he wants to take his opponents down he can’t and would have to always pull guard. As much as I dislike KJ it pains me to say that he will win a decision. He won’t be able to finish Gurgel but he will be able to outclass him standing.
just book KJ vs Diaz its really what we all want to see.
KJ left to go boxing for a yr then signed with strikeforce so to me it seems like hes looking for the Diaz fight…but since strikeforce is in the business of protecting fighters and trying to book future fights to secure legacys we probably wont see it happen

They’re in different weight classes so it’s a little hard to just make it happen. Diaz can’t make 155 and already said he would not be going below welterweight anymore. Once Diaz made that announcement KJ started opening his mouth saying that he wanted a fight with Diaz. Prior to Diaz’s decision to no longer go below welterweight KJ was constantly saying that he didn’t see a reason for the fight to happen. Now that Diaz is out of his weight class he suddenly wants the fight? I don’t usually believe fighters are afraid but that’s just too coincidental and I actually believe that KJ is afraid of Diaz regardless of what happened in their first fight. Why is he afraid? I don’t know you would have to ask KJ that.
i dont know why Kj is afraid of diaz since he schooled him in the first fight so bad…go back and watch it…i know all that has happend since then but the fact is they didnt fight at 155 anyways…they fought at 160. a weight class made especially for diaz since he couldnt make 155 in the first place. but i hear ya i kinda forgot that they are fighting at diff weight classes. but if KJ and Diaz wanna hook it up again its not a big diff…Kj can move up if he isnt scared.

hes NOT afraid of him...hes ASKED for the fight....Diaz just got himself suspended.

im just saying that its a rematch that ppl would have a ton of interest in and once again Strikeforce drops the ball…they shouldnt have signed KJ if they werent gonna make Noons vs Diaz II… no point really
freedomwatchonfox.com lp.org
diaz is suspended...and there is a plan in place for diaz to face mayhem...once thats over with(realize diaz would have to gain weight) Noons WANTS to fight diaz

Striker Vs Grappler match, every fight starts on the feet and i believe Noons TD defense is solid, in the diaz fight, he stuffed about 7-8 of them, the one where he was taken down, he threw a knee… with that being said, Noons will put on a boxing clinic against Gurgel tho. I would love to see a rematch now with Noons and Diaz at maybe a catchweight? 165?
Heart of a Champion...
KJ Noons will light his face up...I havent been this sure about a win in my life....
I would be HUGE on KJ if I bet…but I dont
