"He's a tough fighter, he's confident with his stand-up. To me it seems like the more you just kind of stand in front of him and let him get confident and comfortable, the better he is.He's also got a great guillotine choke but we've put together a great gameplan for Cub that I think is going to be awesome for this fight. Both stand-up and ground is tough with Cub so this gameplan should work great."
WEC featherweight prospect Chad Mendes puts his undefeated streak on the line against Cub Swanson at tonight's (Aug. 18) WEC 50 event from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Mendes recognizes the challenge his opponent brings but tells "Crazy" Larry Pepe on Pro MMA Radio that a "great" gameplan can overcome "great" skills. Will the Team Alpha Male product get one step closer to the 145-pound belt? Or is Swanson going to send him to the back of the line? Predictions please.

Cub Swanson doesn't impress me.
He seems to have great potential, but rarely delivers.

Didn’t Grag Jackson say that he doesn’t really game plan for Cub or Jardine? It might explain a few things.
You know what would make a good story? Something about a clown who make people happy, but inside he's real sad. Also, he has severe diarrhea.
