As UFC 118: "Edgar vs. Penn 2" and the coinciding 2010 Boston Fan Expo quickly approaches, the world's leading mixed martial arts promotion has announced the upcoming match-ups for their grappling "Superfights" inside the John B. Hynes Convention Center.
On Friday, Aug. 27 at 2 p.m. ET, Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC) world champion Penny Thomas, fresh off her "Superfight" victory over Shayna Baszler at the UFC Fan Expo "Las Vegas" back in May, takes on Team Lloyd Irvin product Tracey Goodell.
Also on tap for the Friday afternoon session is a match-up between UFC veteran and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Hermes Franca and 23-time Grapplers Quest champion Ryan Hall.
Scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 28 at 12:30 p.m. ET, is contest between UFC veteran and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Rolles Gracie and undefeated Grapplers Quest champion Roberto "Cyborg" Abreu. And finally, to wrap up the two-day event, Renzo Gracie black belt Gregor Gracie tests his might against reigning ADCC world grappling champion Pablo Popovitch.
