"I literally gassed out. I was exhausted and couldn’t even hold my arms but [the result] was his merit. The fatigue was due I let to lose 12Kg in just one week. I’m a Professional and must have taken attention for not go in trouble. Even though I had won by decision I wouldn’t be satisfied. It would have been less worse than it was but I wouldn’t feel good".
"Nothing like a day after another day" for the former UFC middleweight Thales Leites. The Nova Uniao athlete recognized he didn’t make the weight properly for the fight with Matt Horwich past Saturday at War on the Mainland, in California, USA, and paid the price for the mistake with a rear naked chock loss, something unexpected for a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt. Does Thales Leites deserve some credit to come to figure among the top 185-lbs fighters and maybe get a new contract with the Ultimate or we will see him only in smaller MMA organizations so on?
