PWP: 'War on the Mainland' weigh in results for 'Sylvia vs Buentello' on Aug. 14

Powerhouse World Promotions: "War on the Mainland" is all set to air tonight live on pay-per-view from the Bren Events Center in Irvine, California.

The event costs $30 and will feature three PWP championship fights.

Two-time UFC champion Tim Sylvia will trade leather with Paul Buentello for the heavyweight belt. Jason Lambert and Tony Lopez will square off for the light heavyweight gold. And Thales Leites will take on Matt Horwich for the middlweight title.

Former UFC lightweight champion Jens Pulver will also be in action, taking on Bellator veteran Diego Garijo in a lightweight contest.

I don't know what's worse...

That Tim missed the weight limit by 10 pounds….or that 274 is the lightest he’s weighed in his last few fights.

lol...good point

He was well over the 3oo mark last fight….though that’s pretty easily passable as strategy for making pudz tire quicker trying to move more weighjt around…that was a 2fer for timmy…eating like a hog was helping his cause

The weight limit is actually 275. The promoters talked about on a MMA radio show.

Dunno much about his opponent tho..so he might pull out a w….someone really needs to have a side by side timmy pic…like 2oo4/now…if he looks flabbier than he did in the pudz fight its gonna be one sorry ass sight…that belt musta meant more than any of us kno…he is like friggin ben stiller at the end of dodgeball

I’m sure there’s a funny story for that one…or a frightening one. Was watching challengers earlier and heard miesha “takedown” tate…that’s up there with the worst of em…please welcome david “jab” johnson..or kevin “leg kick” landers….cmon…

Buentello is about to get his ticket back to the UFC when he knocks Timmy’s head off, it would be sad to see how far he’s fallen if he didn’t bring it on himself.
