James Toney is unfazed by criticism directed towards his decision to enter the Octagon against five time UFC champion Randy Couture at UFC 118 on Aug. 28 in Boston. Bernard Hopkins is convinced it will be "Lights Out" for the aging pugilist and David Haye called Toney "delusional" for trying to make it as an MMA fighter. Anyone think the boxing community will be eating crow the morning after?

well those boxer do care about the boxing community
Bacause of james toney (overwashed boxer who is known for his defense and not offense) this fight has turned into boxing vs mma.
And hopkins and haye are very realistic about the chances a boxer has in mma.
It takes at least a year to learn the aspect of a ground game

I'm glad Hopkins is calling it as it is....
The fact is that Toney was a very good boxer…but it’s not a boxing match and there is no way in hell he can even get to an semi-pro level of ground game….If Randy can slam the likes of Tito, Gonzaga and the big statue of Sylvia… he’ll for sure slam Toney to the mat… and from there Lights Out for Lights Out!

Toney hasn’t been a threat in years. He didn’t crossover because he wanted to,he crossed over because boxing was done with him.

Toney hasn’t been an awesome boxer since he left middleweight. If he got in shape I might take him seriously, but he is a joke and has been for some time. He is famous for taking a beating from bigger fighters.

to be fair Lewis was not born here in the UK
he was originally from Canada he fought in the Olimpics for Canada then as a pro for UK but it doesn’t matter where he’s from he was the best heavyweight boxer of all time appart from Henry Cooper (this is just my opinion) anyway boxing is gay MMA all the way
