And going down, that was the easiest road to the title shot any Welter weight has walked since before Matt Hughes. Getting dominated by GSP every rd is nothing new for anyone; but going the distance doesn’t mean you got owned any less. CONDIT FTW!

IMO Hardy is gonna be a gatekeeper in no time flat… I like the kid but he’s just not that good, he has good hands but his power is incredibly overrated! His take down defense is none existent and his grappling is sub par at best..

GSP is one of the p4p best and he didnt stand with Hardy for 20 seconds. Hardy admits his wrestling and JJ sucks and GSP couldnt even sub him.

Is there a point to this? Or are you just pointing out what we already know, that Hardy is one-dimensional and not even the best in class at that one dimension?

Sounds like he is making excuses for another one of his countrymen who don't/won't/can't dedicate one year of their life to actually learning TDD.
but then there is Hathaway as the exception and we all realize the Bisping’s/Hardy’s/Daley’s of the world are just flat-out lazy when it comes to wrestling.

Okami comes form a judo background, not freestyle or Greco...
he does have good TDD, supposedly better since training with Sonnen, but nobody at 185 has the wrestling chops of Sonnen (lindland maybe?), so I see your point.

Okami has just always been hard to take down.
And chael took him down with ease. .. Munoz is supposedly a top level wrestler but couldn’t take okami down, maybe that’s because of his training with sonnen.. But either way i wont discount sonnen’s wrestling ability again. ;)
