agreed. vlad we never see the spinning back fist that will knock him to the canvas and then get mounted by
a guy who just about caved in matt hamills face and broke brandon vera’s face in three places. hamill has fought since then but i have seen no upcoming opponents for vera. did he quit or is he a slow healer?
I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Glory favors the bold. Chance favors the prepared mind. Luck, well i have that too. University of Utah goes to the Pac-12 conference in 2011. I expect them to compete immediately for the conference CG. I still will always follow the Mountain West Conference. Brock Lesnar will defeat Cain Velasquez and face the winner of Junior Dos Santos vs Roy Nelson where he will defeat JDS and stake his claim as pound for pound champion. Womens MMA, the next big thing in sports. 5 weeks till the first game of college football. UTAH vs Pitt. September 2nd 2010.

Well hamil actually hurt his shoulder in that fight
I rememeber a bunch of Maniacs talking about it. Hammil injured his shoulder on the throw from Jones and thought that fight got stopped due to him getting f**ked up but he ended up getting the DQ win cuz Yves thought he was unresponsive due to being TKO’d. Anyways, the Dr musta cleared him cuz then he fought jardine. I don’t think it was a serious injury. Vera plain got wrecked and his face/ego takes a bit more time than just a sore shoulder

Great to see someone so young so humble and respectful
on camera, unlike a certain mr sonnen…i dont care if hes hyping the fight or whatever hes a ballsack who needs crushing and Anderson will do that very thing!

Agreed.......
Rare among pro athletes to be so humble and respectful these days.Just look at all the NFL players holding out for more $$$ (although some are legit, I think Revis(Jets CB) is supposed to make less than a million this year and he’s the best DB in the league). Jones is a rare conbination of size, speed, strength and he’s just fucking exciting to watch. I love this guy from his fighting to his personality.
WAR BONES!!!!!
YESSS altho im from the UK and have only followed NFL since the last season i dont know who Revis is haha! but im getting into it more and more its exciting!
Jones is like the ultimate athlete if I was rashad id be scared this boy would fight anyone im sure of it!

Whatever happened to fulfilling your contract?
Sure Revis is prolly the top DB in the league, and he deserves more money, but too bad. Players want it both ways…if they suck “too bad, pay me my contract!”…if they play great “give me a raise or im not playing!”

You are confusing MLB and NFL contracts..
In the nfl, once you stop performing teams cut you and don’t have to pay you the rest of your contract. That’s why nfl players want better contracts all the time before they’ve fulfilled their original one. In the mlb, even if they drop you they still have to pay you your full contract. That’s why mlb players actually fulfill their contracts and don’t ever hold out.
Everyone loses sooner or later
I like watching all off silvas fights and I am curious to see how he will lose when his time comes. My guess it will be via KO
only time will tell
I’d say sub or decision tho..cause his standup is so good, offense and defense/footwork

He woulda gotten KOd by Maia if Maia had more power (see the avatar). He took big shots from COte and Franklin in the rematch as well. He gets hit quite a bit he just has a very good chin. Watch his fight with Jorge Rivera he has a scary dome.
Goldberg on Leben: One thing's for sure--he really did break that door on the Ultimate Fighter.
Rogan: uh...yeah.
Yeah if that was Vitor instead of Maia
Da spida wouldve went splat on da mat!

I dont think andersons dumb enough to try the forrest routine on vitor
he’d know vitor had fast hands hed be in and out before vitor could react and even go for the takedown! vitors had trouble with good grapplers
andersons just wipes out the MW division an needs to go to LHW where the real challenges are

I got a feeling Vladimir will surprise you all guys.

Me too.
Sometimes being unpredictable is what makes you predictable. Ha, if that makes any sense.

no it doesnt. you can't predict unpredictablity, or else it wouldn't be unpredictable.

Yeah, I worded it poorly. I think Anderson had this problem though. Everyone expects him to throw all these crazy strikes and just KO his opponent every time. You can see it in his performances too – for example against Leites, Cote, and Maia. When your opponent expects the unexpected strikes (spinning elbows, flying knees) then you sometimes get these boring type fights.

he will surprise me if he even makes it out of the first round. vlad is in his late thirties and jones is in his early twenties
old age has only worked for randy couture on a sometimes regular basis. i’ll even count on jones breaking at least one bone in vlads face.

Jones should win this, but at -800 im throwing some money on Matyushenko
It’s a 3-rounder, and anything can happen.
