but the only highlight reel of sonnen they're gonna show on fight night is the shit sonnen talked to hype the fight

I think when someone in the ufc finally beats Anderson it will be a wrestler
But it’s not going to be this loud mouth. Sonnen has no stand up; he doesn’t have too much of a ground game, not a dangerous one anyhow. He basically dry humps people to a decision. Dan Henderson had some success with Anderson with his wrestling but I don’t see Sonnen even getting him down. If he does he will take damage doing it and be in danger in Anderson’s guard.

We’ve already seen him outclass 2 jits specialists with world class skills; and Palhares has shown nothing imo to make anyone think he’d fair any better.

People laugh at me when I say this, but I think Randy Couture is the man for the job. I still give Silva the advantage, but I think Randy has a better shot of beating him than anyone else. Think about it. Who has Randy NOT been able to take down? The only one I can think of is Vera, who was an Olympic Greco alternate, same as Randy. Randy has the best grappling to get Silva to the ground and the ability to finish him there, which Sonnen lacks. The only problem is Randy getting caught on the way in, but he at least has a better chance than Sonnen who has less standup skills, less size/strength, and no ability to finish.
Of course, the best man to take out Silva would be Cain Velasquez, being faster than Randy and a better striker, but Silva would never take that fight, even though he’d be at less of a size disadvantage than most of his own opponents have been.
