But he first has to get past Carlos Condit at UFC 120 on Oct. 16 in London. Will he?

Yes and no I’d say.

Really putting yourself out there huh?

I say no. Condit takes this one.

:)

Yes, working way back to a title shot (presuming he’s learning to deal with wrestlers) and no, he is very unlikely to beat GSP – especially since GSP fights once a year and they’ll all be old men by the time it would ever happen ;)

LOL

I dont see him much more than UFC hype. Definitely not top 5. This fight with Condit will tell much.

Yep

I don’t understand how I am supposed to consider him a threat to the belt or a KO artist. He has like 1 knockout in the UFC against Rory Markham, had split decision wins against Gono and Davis, and a good fight against Swick, which he didn’t dominate. Pure hype.

the dude has way too many people to get past that would tool him the same way gsp did

kos would outwrestle him…fitch would ride him to a decision…alves would outstrike….shields would gayporn him to a decision…i just dont see him getting past all of those guys for another shot

the brockness monster grinds up teenagers and puts them in his protein shakes..and uses razor blades to chop toddlers up into lines to snort like meth...the reason no one can find bigfoot is because the brockness monster found him years ago and now has him in numerous ziplock bags in the back of his freezer...

exactly

spot on with all of those. Wrasslin, Riding, KTFO, and gayporn. I think the last is the best. Put it into play Hella. Anytime someone wins by blanket, they gayporned for the victory.

Shields would sub him by gayporn, sorry North/South, choke.

Fitch gayporns for decisions. Shields would GP him to a sub. And unlike GaySP, Shields would snap his stupid little no-KOing arm if he didn’t tap.

Shields isn’t marketed as some devastating striker/KO artist. Hardy is for some reason.

Hardy crushes Condit.

The UFC knew GSP would destroy Hardy he is a stand up fighter. Condit likes to Bang and will play right into Hardys strength. Condits toughness keeps him around for a round or two but Hardy should TKO him or win a Easy decision. Would love a left hook KO and Hardy fights Fitch or Kos next.

by Cory B on Jul 28, 2010 1:09 PM EDT via mobile reply actions

I would be surprised if he knocks Condit out

If Kamp couldn’t do it, I don’t think Hardy will be able to. Condit has never been KOed and as much as the UFC wants you to believe that Hardy is a KO machine, it just isn’t so.

he does have a bunch of TKO’s against guys with records like 2-12, 6-11, and a respectable 5-5.

Hardy had nothing for GSP

Besides maybe flexibility.
Focus on Condit. Don’t Mir it up with a Title Obsession.

Condit is no easy fight for anyone Hardy might be in for a rude awakening.

Hardy I would give the advantage standing but Condit is a beast on the mat. He could sub Hardy for sure and I don’t think he would hesitate to break something.

LOL GSP is the man

Everyone is beatable. I think that GSP’s losses in the UFC have changed him into a perfect fighter. People keep bitching that he’s boring. Ok, he’s only fought twice in two years, and those fights went to decision. So? He destroyed Jon Fitch (even though it was decision). Fitch was rocked like four times, but just wouldn’t quit.

It’s just too bad that there are so many MMA fans who care way more about being entertained than about real technical skill, ability and heart. In my opinion, GSP is THE BEST FIGHTER p4p. A. Silva is right there with him, but I’m still not convinced that HE"S the best. I’ve seen who Silva’s fought, and I don’t think Dan Henderson, Franklin, Maia are some of the best at their weight division. MW division is LACKING…Sorry Silva, go dance somewhere else to prove yourself…Maybe GSP!!
