There is no uniqueness to what he is doing…Pulver, Hermes, Leben, and a bunch of other guys have been doing that forever. I think Nick, not giving in to the Corporate,I will play by their rules ass, is more unique then Miller. Think about it; this guys refuses to change to even get in the UFC. Most guys are doing what ever they can to land a UFC contract. Nick had, didn’t play by their rules, has been offered to get a contract as long as he plays by their rules and still refuses. There is definitely more individuality in that.

I have one friend we call an E-Tard. He rolled one too many times, and you can tell even when you first meet him.

before- it didn’t matter who they fought, they never showed respect..
now- when they fight someone, after words they sow nothing but respect..

The thing about their respectfulness is Nick and Nate will go up and shake hands with an opponent….if they have won. Otherwise they are still the whiny characters we so often see. They will flip off the crowd or stomp off, etc. But like you said Stinky, they never used to do that. I guess it is a step in the right direction.
And I got a question:
When guys don’t get along, why do they call it “having beef with”? Personally, I will go out a grab a burger or grill some steaks with a friend. Seems to me having beef would be more friendlly.

get in his face? That never happened when they jumped him. Yea he didnt have to get in the ring and all that.. but the bottom line is that they jumped him when there was no need. He said something to Shields about getting a rematch… No matter what way you look at that, there was no need for someone that wasnt even in the conversation to attack him for that.

mayhem is pretty dumb in not thinking something like that could happen.. like i said above, if you didn’t grow up like that? you will never understand..
And as someone who did grow up like that, I’d say their upbringing is no justification in they’re behavior that night when they assaulted someone on a potentially huge stage promoting MMA. Quite frankly, no, Mayhem shouldn’t have to expect being beat down when not in a sanctioned match. Him trying to weasel his way into a rematch uninvited, as classless and disrespectful to Shields as it was, still gives Shields’ camp zero provocation or justification for what they did that night.
I evolved. I would ignore a smart ass in my face unless he physically touched me. I believe what you post about Nick but the question is - why wouldn't he interact with an accountant? :)
