Latest UFC on Versus 2 odds and betting lines for 'Jones vs Matyushenko' on Aug. 1
Vladimir Matyushenko may be "The Janitor," but it's Jon Jones who's mopping up the fight lines. "Bones" is still sailing into his "UFC on Versus 2" main event fight tomorrow night (Aug. 1, 2010) against the Belarusian underdog as a -600 favorite.
Vladdy meanwhile is limping in at +400 despite having a significant edge in experience.
Yushin Okami has "Thundered" into his 185-pound war against Mark Munoz with a -210 fight line in tow. "The Philippine Underdog Machine" could make some money if he drops his purse on his own +165 odds.
Anything is possible in this sport -- and those who lay down some cheddar on the underdogs in San Diego stand to make a healthy profit. Assuming you win, of course. Anyone thinking parlay? Take a look at the latest numbers and let's hear your play.
Surprisingly, the lines haven't moved much at all since our initial post, but that could all change as the event continues to draw closer.

Prokajac
Goldberg on Leben: One thing's for sure--he really did break that door on the Ultimate Fighter.
Rogan: uh...yeah.
I like Prokajac for no reason other than Irvin has only fought like once or twice in the last few years, and one was as an emaciated MW.
Our lives change like the weather, but a legend never dies.
Porkajac wasn't good enough to be vladdy who isn't good enough to be in the UFC.
Only reason he’s in the UFC is cro cop put in a good word for him. Thats it. Everytime he’s tried to fight a step up, he’s been brutally smashed except by vladdy.

Isnt Howard like 5'7 or something
Why dont he just drop down to LW were the guys are pretty much around his height and leave the 6’0 WW alone.Jakes got to much of a size advantage on top of his skills…mismatch.smh
Fedor "The Last Can Crusher" Emelianstinko finally falls at the hands of a washed up UFC Contender...the Irony:)
Howard has been smaller in all of his fights so far yet won all of them so it’s not exactly a problem, Also just because he’s not tall doesn’t mean he’s not big. He is one of the bigger welterweights cutting down from 190.
like sherk was
lw is a good move win/lose for howard.

Howards definantly a beast
I like the guy ive been watching his fights but he has yet to run across a top wrestler with a bigger frame then his like Ellenberger. Then after him hes supposedly getting Anthony Johnson whos 6’2 with a middle weight frame. These guys are to big theyre going to control him on the ground and out strike him on the feet with the reach and height advantage. If he could make 155 id think hed make contention in no time.

new to betus, have selected who i think will win, then clicked parlay, enterd 100 in the single parlay box, is this just 100 spread over every fight??
im with sportsbook.com and the only downside is they dont do parlays on mma
but on mlb i enter the amount i want to bet on all teams in my parlay winning. not an amount for each team.
I like the feeling of hunting down what I feed my family. If there’s a beast out there capable of hunting down Brock Lesnar, he would do it and make me the trophy on his den wall. But the laws of nature dictate that I’m going to be the one who goes into the wild and comes home with the evening’s bounty. - The #1 ranked HW in the world...

do any of theses sites have roundrobins like we have in nevada?
roundrobins are better than parlays b/c you can lose one fight and still make money. could be 2 out of three or 3 out of four which i do often.
I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Glory favors the bold. Chance favors the prepared mind. Luck, well i have that too. University of Utah goes to the Pac-12 conference in 2011. I expect them to compete immediately for the conference CG. I still will always follow the Mountain West Conference. Brock Lesnar will defeat Cain Velasquez and face the winner of Junior Dos Santos vs Roy Nelson where he will defeat JDS and stake his claim as pound for pound champion. Bodog has it. I guess I’m not really familiar with how it works though.

i'll explain it. on a 3 game parlay you have to hit 3 out of 3 to get paid.
in a roundrobin you can win 2 out of the 3 and still win some money. their perfect for the wec with all their upsets but lets look at the ufc 116. if you had leben, bonnar and grove. all of them were positive moneylines. if you hit those 3 out of 3 you would have made alot of money. i had all those three singularily but i admit i did not roundrobin them. say you had leben, bonnar and brown. brown lost but since leben ws 2/1 and bonnar was a +190 you still would have made money. my best roundrrobin was at a wec event that was headlined by cerrone vs ratcliff. i hit 4 out of 4. i bet 50 dollars b/c you have to have all 3 out of 4 combos plus the 4 out of 4 combo. the ticket paid 2,315.85. i had all dogs and they all won but even i thought bart p. lost to pettis but he got the decision so i did get lucky. on a 3 fighter roundrobin you would need every 2 out of 3 combos plus the 3 out of 3 combo so you would have to bet 40. you could bet less but i’m using my numbers as example’s.

Thanks for the explanation. I might have to try that out. I always seem to hit 3/4 or 4/5…someone always fucks it up for me. Lately I’ve had some bad luck with bad judging. I love the smaller shows for these type of bets too. I make more betting WEC and Strikeforce usually. UFC matchups seem to be more evenly matched.

it would be perfect for you if you were hitting 3 out of 4 or even 4 out of 5.
the one thing you have to do is you can’t take all the favorites. you won’t make that much b/c the negative moneylines hurt the odds. you have to take some dogs and if your me i almost always take 3 out of the 4 i pick are dogs. some can be just +140 too. just don’t add a b.j. penn or anderson silva fight to the roundrobin. taking those guys will drastically hurt any profit. good luck.

BetUS has been around and I know lots of guys use that site.
But I do find it odd that it would ask for your Social. I myself am not a member of any betting site. I prefer to make small local bets with friends. May wonder into the sig bets one of these days. But j I would say make sure it is not a phishing site. Check the URL they can look identical to the real site. Next thing you no you just sent your social security number to the Congo.
Do not. I repeat, do not, go to mma-core.com. I made the mistake of watching a couple UFC 108 bouts on there and I am still trying to get all the viruses of my computer. Ridiculous! You've been warned.
