Shark Fights 13: Houston Alexander vs Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou booked for Sept. 11 in Amarillo
Former UFC 205-pound contender Keith Jardine will get some company on September 11 when a couple of familiar faces from his former promotion join him on the Shark Fights 13: "Jardine vs. Prangley" card from the Civic Center Coliseum in Amarillo, Texas.
Hard-hitting light heavyweight sluggers Houston Alexander (10-6) and Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou (9-6) will hook 'em up in a battle of big-fisted brawlers to see who still packs the more powerful punch.
A grappling chess match this ain't.
"The Nebraskan Assassin" was able to right the ship after dropping five of his last six fights. Alexander outlasted David Griffin to take a unanimous decision at UFA 1: "Clash at the Coliseum" back on June 11.
Despite making some noise early in his UFC career, Alexander was never able to get to the next level, primarily because of his ignorance of the ground game. While he can turn the lights out when he lands clean, the formula for toppling the friendly father of five is not much of a secret.
That might not give him much to worry about against Sokoudjou. The Cameroonian has also had his share of difficulties on the ground, but aside from his striking, the former PRIDE spoiler boasts a dangerous Judo offense that could be the deciding factor in this contest.
"The African Assassin" is also coming off a much-needed win, stopping Joaquim Ferreira via technical knockout at last week's Impact FC: "The Uprising" in Brisbane.
Shark Fights 13 will be headlined by "The Dean of Mean," Keith Jardine, as he tangles with well-traveled MMA veteran Trevor Prangley.
Stay tuned to MMAmania.com for more information on this still-developing fight card.

So next time FEDOR is kicking your ass, don't be offended or hurt, he may be just trying to tell you he likes your hat.
He looks like Gordan Ramsey

What throws me off about this pic...
is Prangley looking like he’s flexing in blue jeans. I know he has fight shorts on, but this pic makes me feel like im in a Bugle Boy nightmare.
Yes I said Bugle Boy…
That single tap from Fedor was telling Werdum "OK let me go or I'll break both your fucking legs"
haha more like battle of the ufc dropouts
No, it's a cardigan but thanks for noticing.

the great thing about all the ufc cuts
is these smaller orgs get to showcase and advertise " former ufc fighters". its like going to a leafs game to watch all the former nhlers play.
~
to be honest, these are two pretty decent fights coming out of a lower end promo like shark fights…
both fights should be entertaining………
formerly stinky~fingers
No kidding
Amarillo is getting a treat, for sure when they first announced a Shark promotion event they weren’t expecting this. Eat it up Amarillo, I can’t imagine an event like this headed your way again any time soon.

i think jardine takes prangley. 2 of my least favorite fighters…
I like the feeling of hunting down what I feed my family. If there’s a beast out there capable of hunting down Brock Lesnar, he would do it and make me the trophy on his den wall. But the laws of nature dictate that I’m going to be the one who goes into the wild and comes home with the evening’s bounty. - The #1 ranked HW in the world...

I really hope Jardine wins.
He badly needs a victory.
Good night Houston Alexander. I’m sorry but I don’t know if he can really take a shot.

Banky: Stop the movie? What are you, crazy?
Jay: All these assholes on the internet are calling us names because of this stupid fucking movie.
Banky: That's what the internet is for. Slandering others anonymously. Stopping the flick isn't gonna stop that.
Jay: This isn't fair. We came to Hollywood, I fell in love. Fuckin', we got shot at, we stole a monkey, and I got punched in the motherfucking nuts by a guy named Cock-Knocker.
Finally we get to see both assassin's fight
Its the battle of the 1minute men! Because past that they are both gassed hahahahah
