Eric 'Butterbean' Esch: 'Kimbo Slice is going to be grasping at whatever he can get'
Props: MMA Nation
Quoteworthy:
"I don't think Kimbo would demand a lot of money because he really hasn't proven himself. The UFC dumped him so he's gonna be grasping at whatever he can get. Kimbo is very marketable. He and [Mariusz] Pudzianowski would be a great fight. Especially if Pudzianowski learned to fight. But yeah, we definitely have the financial backing to put on the fight. Like I said there's five partners involved with Moosin, and it all works out really well. But it depends on what he does at American Top Team. I'm not even sure if he's still down there. Ricardo Liborio showed him a lot of great stuff, I'm sure. He did look better in his last fight. But it takes time. I've been fighting MMA for six years and I've still got so much more to learn. You have to be really good in one aspect to do well. We'd love to have Pudzianowski long term but he has to start listening to us. With Kimbo, it'd be the same thing."
The man affectionately known as "Butterbean" attempts to put Kimbo Slice in his place. Or, at least in a place where Moosin could sign the YouTube brawler to a relatively inexpensive deal. Rumors leaked last week of a potential Kimbo Slice vs. Mariusz Pudzianowski main event fight at Moosin's next event in October. First question I have for you, how interested would you be in seeing that fight? Second, what kind of chances do you give the fight to actually materialize? And finally, if these two gentlemen do eventually meet up, who takes it? Have at it, Maniacs.

kimbo and ken shamkrock should lock themsleves in a room together and neither can come out until they learn to check a leg kick.
It those two were locked in a room together
they would be more likely to produce offspring than evolve their fight games.

1. How interested would I be in seeing this fight?
I’d catch it online the next day if I remember, but I wouldnt spend a dollar on it.
2. The fight could materialize. Anything can happen in MMA. But Butterbean seems to want Kimbo on the cheap citing “he hasn’t proven himself”….well, what does that matter?? He puts asses in seats. Maybe not as much as he did in the UFC, but u get the picture.
3. Kimbo would take him out easily.

Kimbo does't have many offers
Since even SF doesn’t want him. He’l have to either fight or go back to being a body guard. My guess is he fights in either Japan, in the U.S. probably with moosin or (what I think is his best option pre wrestling.
he'd make more money in Japan and even more money if he can get into pro westling.

he needs japan..
they love freak shows more then they love world class fighters, even if he becomes a jobber he will still get paid good and have a home in his japanese promotion. if fedor goes back to japan they can feed kimbo to him and start the whole number one heavyweight bullshit again..
For what profit is it to man if he gains the world , and loses his own soul?

thing is Japan is broke (their mma)
and before you guys say dream has a new backer, they also declared war on the UFC, I don’t see how Kimbo helps in that war
MMA-Wise Possibly
Financially wise no.

Agreed with TW and Kevin. Pro wrestling is def Kimbo's best bet since his fanbase is made up of clueless kids and people who think youtube fights are an indication of MMA talent.

haha
if mariusz will tap like a little bitch to a few of sylvias punches he will die agenst kimbo
Plus, Timmy did the smart thing by waiting until Pudz gassed after a minute or so.
Kimbo doesn’t have that luxury, since he gasses just as quick.

I'd take the maniac over kimbo
especially a fat timmy, put him in crucifix position i bet kimbo still cant get outa that lol
since kimbo lost to the meathead he should fight the musclehead.
loser gets shamrock and winner gets promoted to fight fedor since he will wait till werdum is healed and not fight overveem.
I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Glory favors the bold. Chance favors the prepared mind. Luck, well i have that too. University of Utah goes to the Pac-12 conference in 2011. I expect them to compete immediately for the conference CG. I still will always follow the Mountain West Conference. Brock Lesnar will defeat Cain Velasquez and face the winner of Junior Dos Santos vs Roy Nelson where he will defeat JDS and stake his claim as pound for pound champion. Womens MMA, the next big thing in sports. 45 days and counting to the first game of college football. UTAH vs Pitt. September 2nd 2010.

Interesting quote from a guy who’s been nothing but a freakshow his entire life. ‘Hey everyone, look at the fat guy punch people.’
Our lives change like the weather, but a legend never dies.
Don't forget his classic leg kicks.
