Tickets for UFC 120, which today (July 20) was made official for the O2 Arena in London, England on Oct. 16, will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, July 24, at 10 am.
UFC Fight Club members and UFC Newsletter subscribers, naturally, will be able to scoop up tickets prior to them being available for public consumption.
UFC 120 will feature a hard-hitting middleweight battle between Michael "The Count" Bisping and Yoshihiro "Sexyama" Akiyama in the main event of the evening. Joining them will be Dan "The Outlaw" Hardy as he tries to fight his way back into 170-pound title contention against Carlos "Natural Born Killer" Condit in the co-featured fight of the night.
Another exciting welterweight showdown between John Hathaway and Mike Pyle has also been made official.

Is this really how Dana is repaying us for the Silva spectacle?
By giving us a mediocre fight night card and claiming it’s PPV worthy (yes I know it’s free). It’s pretty hard not to call this card lame with a headliner of Bisping and Akiyama. Asides from the Condit/Hardy fight…there isn’t much to get excited for on this card.

The UK cards are basically an entirely seperate feeder promotion to nurture young british fighters and as such bare no resemblance to the N.American cards. They should not be numbered and should be called UFC UK Fight Night 1,2,3 etc.

doesn’t mean we only wanna see british fighters in every fight!!! My three favourites are Lesnar, Shogun and GSP, I’d love to see those guys over here headlining shows like they do in North America.
Off the top of my head you guys have had BJ/Joe and
Rampage/hendo. I’m sure there were more I can’t think of.
Part of the problem with PPV quality cards there is that it starts at 12 noon here on the west coast. Nobody buys and watches that shit at 12 noon on a Saturday.

Considering I live 20 mins from the arena,I consider a night at what is essentially a ufc fight night,a pretty decent night out.And of course I can say its a shit card,because it is a shit card,everyone here pretty much says the same thing.However,a shit card does not mean a shit event.I remember going to UFC 95,and a hell of a lot of people were complainin about that card,especially the main event,but that was one of the best eventsI have been too.
I have gone to Atlanta Chuck v Rashad,been to Dublin,Manchester,Birmingham and Newcastle for ufc but if I didn’t live near the arena,I would not travel for this,cage-rage event.A fair bit of talent has been showcased in England,but this really takes the piss.I think I will wait for Dana to tweet free tickets for this event,cos no way will this sell-out.

Americans for some reason have a massive chip on their shoulders about British fighters, this i don’t understand – we have only two decent training camps in a country with a population of 60 million but yet the fighters we have in the ufc are all worthy contender fighters (Bisping included – only lost to previous belt holders).

Siver was a good test and he passed with flying colors, but no way he beats BJ in the next two years.

i dont think its too far fetched to believe ross may have a belt sometime in the future. Hes gritty and pretty talented. However I do believe hes going to need to change things up camp wise eventually if he wants to compete with the upper echelon

yeah i agree it was 50/50 between Hathaway and Pearson. It may be a long way away but it will happen was more my point.
Pearson and HAthaway are both part of the next gen of British fighters, but
they need to put in their time and work theri way up the ladder.
Hathaway, on his best night right now, loses to at least 5 guys (GSP, Fitch, Kos, Alves, and Shields) every time. Pearson to 5 as well (BJ, Kenny, Gray, Sot, Frankie). Those are off the top of my head guaranteed loses. It doesn’t include the Kampmann’s and Sherk’s of the world who would be favored but might lose.
I just hope neither gets tagged as the next big thing and gets babied like Bisping. They need to take small steps up the ladder and fight guys on their level. I think both of them could accomplish alot if tehy continue along the right path, but both need to come to camps in the US to get over the top. HAthaway could both use some time at AKA or Jackson’s to refine their games.

This is such bullshit.
They wonder why the UFC is taking off as much in the UK as they had projected. The last card (although entertaining in the end) was weak, and only given some credibility late on with the addition of Randy…fighting Brandon fucking Vera!
British fans do want to see British fighters, but not in every fight. All we’re asking for is a fight that means something within the organisation. Hendo v Rampage was in 2007! UFC 80 was the last decent card in the UK, full of international fighters and a legitimate main event.
They cant keep fobbing us off with these ‘Fight Night’ cards, slapping a number on it so we think we’re getting a legit event (while its broadcast free everywhere else). We’re lucky to get one event a year, and I dont know how the UFC expect fans to come and spend their hard earned cash with Bisping v Akiyama as a main event.
