plus he knows a fully fit shogun annihilates him!
the jackson camp are rubbing their hands literally.if im still in the pool or if theres a new one im taking evans as lock of the night watch shad beat an out of shape shogun then im gonna cry myself to sleep!
"whats the difference if Bruce Springsteen is his shidoshi?"
i would like to see Bones fight Shad. That would be great. We could have all kinds of new gifs of rashad making those funny knock out faces. :)
BJ is going to be back in Cali training and Marv is back! Bad news for Frankie. I will be betting the house.
jones would destroy rashad. It really bothers me that ppl think Rashad is good. He’s nothing more than a mediocre striker with mediocre wrestling.
Rashad is good, what are you talking about?
Just being well rounded goes along way you don’t have to be a stud at everything.

Honestly Jones leaves him self too open defensivley, a good counter puncher has a chance of ending his night

That's one of the major reasons why i am big time
against him facing any of the studied strikers just yet and for the A Silva and etc more than a year.

but he keeps winning. i don’t think Bones is ready for the top of the division. but if he smashes Vlady then who else is there for him but the top.
True, it ain't gonna happen but I wanna see hm fight Bader.
Provided Thiago Silva gets a gimme win against Boetch he should get Bones after Vladi

Rashad is the #1 contender and has only lost once
yet he’s nothing more than a mediocre striker and wrestler. What does that say about Rampage? Or the rest of the division? Statements like that are just hate talk…keep on hating and Shad is going to keep on winning…get used to it.

Michael: You speak Arabic?
Buster: La-ach-ha-tem.
Michael: What’s that mean?
Buster: No, I was just clearing my throat, but I think it actually does mean "laundry" but like a child’s laundry. We don’t really have a word for it.

Lol you’re right I’m just a desperate hater…other than the fact that I don’t mind Rashad at all. I just think he’s another overrated tuf product like Forrest. Look at his wrestling record…as far as wrestlers in MMA he is absolutely mediocre. Watch his wrestling in the Salmon and Ortiz fights. Beating up a one-dimensional rampage doesn’t make you good. He will never beat anyone with a good wrestling game such as Bader, jones, Vera, Davis, Mo, etc. He’s already proven in his last 3 fights that he has horrible striking.
Who else has taken Rampage down as many times as Rashad?
Hendo was able to hold is own when wrestling Rampage, but Rashad was clearly the better wrestler in thier fight.

Exactly
Rashad’s wrestling is a hell of a lot better than mediocre…he’s taken down everyone he’s fought unless he’s knocked them out instead. He can use the double leg, the single leg, and has shown he can use his striking to set up the takedown. I’m not saying he’s the best MMA wrestler out there but he’s one of the best in the division…especially considering he’s one of the smaller LHWs. He’s got solid technique and explosive hip movements…hard to argue with that.

look at his wrestling credentials. Nowhere near the level of a Bader or a Davis. And he was otuwrestled by Salmon and Tito. And against Rampage he went like 3/10 or something on TD’s.
Problem with rashad is that he gasses himself out
trying to get guys down off of the cage while they wall walk. I don’t know why for the life of me that someone of his wrestling caliber can’t finish a takedown at the center of the cage.

Jones Would Not Destroy Rashad
Their training together is very very competetive.

No more hand holding for Bones after August 1st. Sink or swim buddy.
I'm always right, even when I'm wrong.
Only 2? Must be a slow day

I like Bones a lot. I am not a hater at all. They need to give him top 5 next. You don't think so?
I'm always right, even when I'm wrong.
No They Shouldnt He Is 22 And Has a Long Ways To Go In Developing
No reason they cant give him another tough fight without it having to be Top 5
by AintNoSunshine on Jul 16, 2010 1:53 PM EDT up reply actions
I'd settle for top 10.
But age has nothing to do with it. If he keeps winning you have to step up his competition. You cannot get better by fighting lesser competition. What’s the worse that happens? He loses, that may be the best thing for his career.
I'm always right, even when I'm wrong.
I said it above I think.
Give him T. Silva cause he’s gonna walk through his next opponent.

Well Considering He Isnt Ready For Top 10 Talent
it can be a bad thing. He is so young that a loss to a top guy can be very embarassing and can serve as a major set back.
by AintNoSunshine on Jul 16, 2010 3:28 PM EDT up reply actions
I think Top 10 is just fine. Top 5, not yet. I'd like to see someone beat a Top 10 before jumping right to a potential #1 contender fight against a Top 5
