Tom Huggins: It wasn't the cost of plane tickets -- Bob Sapp never signed his Impact FC contract
Props: Sherdog.com
Quoteworthy:
"For three weeks, we tried to get Bob to commit to flight dates and sign a contract. He never actually signed the contract we sent him weeks ago. We needed to have this stuff taken care of weeks ago. You get on the phone with Bob, and two hours later, nothing gets accomplished. Bob is a business guy, too. He knows that sometimes things happen that make deals untenable. You can't just get three plane tickets out Sofia, especially for Bob Sapp. He's 350 pounds; he can't fly coach. Getting all the right connecting flights out of Bulgaria can't just be done last minute. The tickets were getting more expensive, but it was never a price issue. Bob was actually very reasonable about money. It was the logistics and time. None of this would've been an issue if he wasn't in Bulgaria. That made the logistics really hard: there were major visa issues for these guys coming to Australia, they had to be consulate-issued. We just weren't getting the help we needed from Bob to get it done properly."
Impact FC promoter Tom Huggins was ready to fly Bob Sapp to Australia for his "Uprising 2" fight against Soa Palelei on July 18 in Sydney -- except "The Beast" reportedly failed to sign his contract while wrapping up his role in the "Conan the Barbarian" movie remake in Bulgaria. Brad Morris will step in to replace Sapp on a card that also features Ken Shamrock vs. Pedro Rizzo. Will Sapp's absence hurt the promotion's drawing power? Or is this a blessing in disguise?

well this is certainly a different story
than what sapp said.
and how could it hurt the promotion? they have “the worlds most dangerous man” on the card (and rizzo is going to smash him)
never have any regrets, because at the time, thats all you wanted to do
they'll prbably lose Paulo Filho from the card pretty soon too
anyone want to make guesses what the excuse will be this time?
im guessing
it will be voices that are telling him, if he fights, he will end up going to hell or something.

Sapp is worse than pudz and canseco
Have you seen him do anything but lie down and cry after the first punch that hit him?
I havent.

Canseco is transparent. He is doing it soley for the $$$. The other people mentioned might actually be interested in an MMA career even if they are bad at it.

I’ve seen him put a pretty nice beating on nog before getting submitted. but the crying against crocop was hilarious. his nickname should have been changed to big baby after that.
His only claim to fame
is ragdolling big Nog for a couple of minutes and gassing himself out. Guy should have hung em up years ago. Nobody likes to see a grown man cry.
He KO'd Ernesto hoost probly the greatest kick boxer if all time.
Besides those 2 fights bob hasn’t done much but take a beating. His k1 fight against hong man choi qa hella fun 2 watch =D

Yes Lester
He has beat a K-1 Legend. And put an ass whooping on Big Nog in the Pride Era. He also had some quality match ups in K-1. He was also entertaining to watch as he bull rushed opponents and showed no discipline as he swung his arms til he gassed
