Thanks for that completely justified hate. By this logic no other company than the UFC has the right to have a title? I happen to think Mo and Jacare would both do quite well in the UFC, and I’m excited for this card.

Even before SF pissed me off by treating Shields like crap and granting immediate rematches when their draws got beat by handpicked opponents (Le-Smith, Fedor-Werdum) they always let themselves down by treating their own belts as if they were meaningless. They allowed Thomson, Le and Overreem to hold up their divisions for way too long and put on title fights that didn’t see the champion face the top contender. They don’t seem to care about their titles and if they don’t then the fans won’t either.
SF have put on some great shows and have some quality fighters but they continue to shoot themselves in the foot by not having their best guys competing for their titles and allowing their champions to hold divisions hostage to the extent that the belts are meaningless at this point. Only the LHW and womens titles have been treated properly and those are the promotions weakest divisions by far, the other belts have been tainted as a result of poor marketing and not having them defended often enough or in fights that matter. I’m not saying that they suck but they’ve always treated their belts badly.

I’d actually like to see this live, as I’d have 2 top class fighters to cheer (Jacare and Mo) plus I like Feijao as well (as a self confessed obsessive Anderson Silva fan it’s my duty to cheer on his protege so I’ll have split loyalties in the main event) and I have one guy that I can’t stand who I would love to see lose (KJ). I’d quite happily take 2 SF title fights main eventing a card over here rather than our guys taking pointless fights that are irrelevant to their divisions.
