Impact FC results and quick recap for 'Uprising' on July 10 in Brisbane
Impact FC staged an "Uprising" earlier this morning when it brought a cast of MMA notables to its July 10 pay-per-view from the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Australia.
Leading the charge "Down Under" was MMA lighting rod Josh Barnett, as he took another step closer to, well, nothing really, after pounding Brazilian road block Geronimo dos Santos into a first round stoppage.
Also resurfacing (and actually making weight and competing) was former UFC welterweight Karo Parisyan, who got back into the win column for the first time in nearly three years by submitting Ben Mortimer via second round submission (rear naked choke).
Fellow Zuffa castaways Jeff Monson and Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou also picked up wins across the globe. "The Snowman" outpointed Ubiratan Lima Marinho while the Cameroonian stopped Joaquim Ferreira via first round technical knockout.

. . . leaving Karo fans to ask the obvious question: Who the fuck is Ben Mortimer?
